You know, I'm really going to have a hard time bringing up much sympathy for PS. Not because I didn't like the guy, but because he really just didn't seem to get the hang of following the rules, or he just didn't want to.

I mean, the picture that got him banned for the second and final time was posted almost directly after several reminders that everyone should follow the rules.

Yes, he did. He's had a few brushes with the law on his second account, mostly for being rude/personal attacks or language issues.

But he posted a picture of two flaming homosexuals (or at least people pretending to be flaming homosexuals). That in itself is not the problem, except that one of the people has a large penis/dildo sticking out of his hat.

And PS posted it about 6 posts after I told people to follow the AUP or the "Funny Pictures" thread gets shut down... so he knew it was wrong.

I thought it was probably something like that, and I know there's been few members in that "funny pic" thread that's been posting obscene pics, even after your warnings, ruining it for rest of us. I don't think he was even 18 years old, but PS was pretty mature for his age most of the time(really). He did let it slip occasionally, and he's got nobody to blame but himself. Thanks for the info, everybody.

Since this was his 2nd banning, did it go to an IP ban this time?

That's what I'm afraid of. I hope he gets another chance. While he could be a trouble maker at times, he's generally a great kid. I've enjoyed his posts since his "Public Secrecy" days.

He's one of those people you have to meet to understand.

Yes, Kent's OK. They came through with some moderate damage, but luckily no serious injuries.

And yes, it was Der Alta who banned PS, but I would have done it myself as soon as I had seen the pic. We try not to differentiate who actually pushes the button, because we try to make sure that all moderators work cooperatively and to the same standards.
