I would like to know how many drivers out there are over 40? I started a league about 3 months ago, and I am over 40.
Just trying to get a good idea of how many of us are out there.
Thanks guys.

42 and will NEVER grow up! Especially if GT is involved...

I'm 3 months too young to join the 40-club!!

But would proudly do so by the end of Jan 2013. Can't imagine being too old to GT

I think we (the aforementioned) probably appreciate the beauty of the PS3 more because of what we had as youngsters. I couldn't have imagined what a PS3 could do back when playing a ZX Spectrum (was it 16k memory?) or an Atari console

I agree, we have more of an appreciation than the 'yoof' of today. to them having all this stuff is just normal.

i started on an old Atari 2600 and advanced upto a Commodore 16. My TV was black and white, it had 4 channels and a big dial on the front to tune it.

Kids have it easy nowadays.

I'm 34 and reading this makes me question myself less for loving my PS3!

Nice one fellas.

Honestly, my attitude is that there is no way in hell I am going to let these kids have all the fun. And yes, compared to what we grew up with, OMG this stuff is so freakin cool!

50 and I still refuse to grow up

👍

Same hear will be 51 in 3 months and still absolutely refuse to grow up.

A friend brought his PS1 over with GT1 2 weeks after its release date and showed me how to use it and then I stayed up all night long, showered and went to work and on the way home bought my own PS1 and GT1 and have been completely hooked since.

When the ole lady finally moved out my first thought was HOORAY!! more racing time and I never thought about her again and same goes for the 2nd one.

My next girl friend told me I need to get my priorities in order so I did;
1. Work
2. Gran Turismo
3. Girl friend

Guess what more racing time again = Silence + Happiness

Current GF enjoys watching me race and is even starting to play herself now = Happiness +2

I'll turn 65 in 2 months 👍 Hope to see GT6 before I hang up my controller :)

I'm trying to keep a racing theme here so I'll say that in June I completed lap 50 around that big red cosmic fireball in the sky...:)

I have two sons who are in their 30's and play the game with me.:sly:

I love the game and like many have said before. This is so much better than what we had in our youth.

Now just fix the online issues and life will be good.:)
