I would like to know how many drivers out there are over 40? I started a league about 3 months ago, and I am over 40.
Just trying to get a good idea of how many of us are out there.
Thanks guys.

52 and still beating on young wipper snappers!!! :dopey: Bob whats this league of yours all about? I would probably be interested!!!

41 next month (1990 has nothing to do with my age...unfortunately), been playing racing games since pitstop on the commodore 64. Not bad at them even now, was better at forza than GT5 but have managed to complete all licenses on Gold :-)

Age: 49. Level: 40. Mentally: 16.
I don't play console/pc games except for GT on the PS. I've been around since GT on PS1 and love the GT series for it's "close to real life experience".
I used to race motorcycles (IRL), but when we had kids, my time just vanished and I had to give it up. Now I shoot pistols for sport (IPSC), adn I really have no time for console gaming... Except for GT5, that is...

I've been playing tuning my cars and pushing to beat my times since it was on PS One. I'm 40 now and it the only title in my PlayStation.

Man . . . I loved that game so much. That pic brings back a lot of memories; makes me want to play the crap out of it all over again.

And of course . . . sharks. :dopey:

I'm not over 40, actually I'm 20 years old. But I have something off topic to post that I thought you guys might like. :)

This was literally sitting on the shelf behind me. I got it maybe in early 2000s/late 90s, I can't remember.

That's okay, I can't remember the 90s either (Or the 80s!!) but probably for different reasons!

Cool pic and nice to see younger people being into this stuff. I wasn't PC literate myself until 10 years ago and never had a console until my Playstation in '99 but my 13 year old daughter is getting into the older consoles/games also. Cheers!

53, PC Flight sim enthusiast for the last 20 years, but also drove some early Papyrus titles. Just got a PS3 and GT5 this year and I'm lovin' the 3D.

I'm 70 and have been playing electronic games since they 1st arrived. I currently am concentrating on auto racing games.

46 and aiming to be a finalist for next years Academy. Practice at least 5 hours a day, sometimes more. Spend many hours burning the midnight oil doing the seasonal time trials and such. Not afraid to say that I have no life, (on disability) GT5 is it. I don't race online, had my fill of that, perfectly happy hotlapping to perfection. Glad to see such a large 40 something crowd. Peace.

I like to do time trials myself, I rarely find anyone that races clean and serious online. i've gotten lucky twice:dopey:!!.

This thread has made my day. So glad that there are guys out there who play for the love of it and don't feel the need to 'act your age'.

I grew up on consoles and I will enjoy them until I can no longer play them.

To all us 'veterans'.......I salute you all.

Now where did I put my copy of sensible soccer?

36 here, been gameing since callecovision. I also find nintendo was fassanating for it's time. coulden't get enough of that Cassttlevania.

49, started serious gaming with Metal Gear Solid on the PSone. It was my Godson who is now 18 that made me appreciate the GT franchise, he was addicted to GT3 and I remember transferring his GT3 save on to my game.
