Hero (more of an anti-hero): Nick Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds (can't rember characters name, ATM)
Villan: Ricardo Diaz in Vice City

I can't beleive you changed your avatar, Anderton... :(

Hero - Snake Plissken (Escape from NY, Escape from LA)
Villan - Char Aznable (Mobile Suit Gundam, M.S. Zeta Gundam, M.S. Gundam, Char's Counterattack.)

I hope you don't mean Violator from Spawn the movie. I hate John Leguizamo. And that movie was such a letdown.
I'm not talking about Leguizamo but the character - and the Violator do in fact kick ass ;)

And I must admit that I like Spawn....

Oh my ...

Jackie Chan - Comedian Martial Arts Actor
Bruce Lee - Martial Arts Actor
Al Capone - One of the greatest gangsters of all time. Not an actor.

If the question were "favorite character", I would let this slide because each of these men had quite a lot of character in their lives. However, it clearly states fictional, and each of these men are quite real.

But now it's actually a picture of Anderton! It took me a while to find a pic I liked that still looked good when shrunk down to 100x100 pixels...I still have the old one, maybe one day I'll change it back!

I love the Spawn phenomenon too. I got hooked on the comics when they came out and have all of them from #1-50, but then I stopped collecting. The movie was pure rubbish and it disappointed me because I was so looking forward to it. The movie Violator lookd pretty good, though.

And yeah, Violator does kick the booty; he sure ain't the Vindicator!

Did DRIFT4EVA say he likes the Phantom? I need clarification on which Phantom, because if it's the one played by Billy Zane in the movie of the same name, I think you need some serious re-education because that's the worst superhero movie ever made, worse than Daredevil and Steel combined!

For me there is only one Superhero worthy of consideration - and that would be Earthworm Jim.

I'm not sure why Danny De Vito's penguin gets a mention here, the Penguin from Wallace & Gromit's The Wrong Trousers is a far more sinister villian (see avatar).

That penguin is much mroe sinister, you don't know what is going on in his mind! He's like the raven...

I loved that little pice of plastercene. He was so quiet and cunning, and Wallace didn't suspect a thing (dumbass).

Let me clarify

Jackie Chan's & Bruce Lee's characters they play in their movies

Al Capone was a F00k up. I got a little carried away and forgot the question

Sure the Phantom is a ghey movie, but the character himself is cool (Would be even better without those ghey purple tights)

You mean the costume with the chest and abdomen muscles painted on? At least with Batman, they created 3D fake muscles for Michael Keaton!

Perhaps, but DeVito's Penguin was a perfect Tragic Villain, meaning that you feel pity and catharsis for him when he dies at the end of Batman Returns (remember when all his penguin soldiers come in and carry him into the water? Shed a tear, mates, 'cause it coulda been you!)

Forget the car. It's the suit, chicks love the suit.

My favorite protagonist of all time would have to be the captain of the USS Enterprise, Jean-Luc Picard. Jack Ryan from Tom Clancy's spy novels being a runner-up.

My favorite villian is probably Roy Batty from Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. The iconic Darth Vader being a somewhat distant runner up.

I must be forgetting someone.

EDIT: Yes I did. Gollum from Lord of the Rings. Very very good villian... which is in sharp contrast to Sauron, who is a two-dimensional cardboard non-character.

My favourite fictional character is Homer Simpson, although he's not entirely fictional as he reminds me a lot of members of my family...

But I have Season 15 of the Simpsons...man have they lost it. I like the new South Park.
