I still hve the box my NES came in! and it's in it! HA BEAT THAT! lol It's the big box that game with the pad, the gun, and the 3in1 cartridge. Mario, Duck Hunt(best shooter ever!), and the olympics game.

WTF!? 3in1 mario, duck hunt and olympics!?, did i get ripped off? all i got is a 2in1 smb and duck hunt

I have three. 2 original models and one of the newer Nintendo top loading models. Technically I have 3 original models...but the third one is completely disassembled. :sly:

I pulled out my front-loader NES for the hell of it last night. I expected to run into all sorts of trouble in getting games to work, but amazingly, it gave me less trouble than my PS2 has been giving me.

I know this thread is old, but I just now seen it. I still have a NES. I've got a frontloader and a toploader. The toploader was given to me free. Someone I know was garbage picking and found a perfectly good toploader with paddles, and a lightgun in the garbage with about 30+ games! I never had many games for the NES. I would always rent them. Have any of you ever tried to put a Game Genie in the toploader? Or better yet, try to get it out? :nervous: It is VERY hard to do.

sorry, i didn't even realise this thread was revived

i tried to play my NES earlier, but no games will work, looks like i'll have to get out the sandpaper again:D

NES-001
near-mint
in plastic wrap in styrofoam in box (all original)
with still-wrapped instruction sheet, controller, and power cord, I believe.
Does that count?

WooT!!

I've got my old NES still... and alot of games for it.

Some of the notable titles.

Zelda
The Adventures of Link: Zelda 2
Tetris
Metroid
Duck Hunt
Mario 1, 2, and 3
Ninja Gaiden 1, 2, and 3
Castlevania 1, 2, and 3
Adventure Island 1, 2, and 3
Crystalis
Final Fantasy
Bucky O'hare (Friggin awesome game)

And several other titles I cannot remember right now. Needless to say, I have alot of games.

In other news, I recently dug my my original Gameboy and my Gameboy Pocket. And I also have an SNES (With Super Scope), N64, GCN, GBA, GBA SP. I need to get a DS Lite soon, some titles I am wanting are coming out more and more for that.

i have an original gameboy and a gameboy pocket:), but i normally use my gba to play them:)

updated:)

I have a classic frontloader which works great, actually. What really helps is replacing the Pin connector in the back of it, it'll make games run the first time about 90% of the time, and almost never freezes. I did want to get a toploader, but they're quite uncommon. Look on ebay and you'll see what I mean.

I got one of them from my cousin about 5 years ago. I still have the box it came in and of course about 8 games. I bought a few games for about 50c each used.:dopey: And i really love that Mario game:sly: So count me in!!:) I just remembered my dad threw my games out:ouch:

I do have 1 but it doesn't work

Games:

Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros 2(LAME)
Super Mario Bros 3(Ownage)
Double Dragon 3(Ownage²)
Duck Hunt (Ownage³)

Then sign me up! Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/Track&Field. <----All on one cart.
Baseball All Stars...etc. Front loading grey box....👍

I've still got my NES, but I cannot find any of my old carts.
However Ebay has so many gems out there, think I'll have to get Turtles again, a classic so difficult with the least rewarding ending in a game ever lol. Might get Kirby's adventure too, and Mario 1,2 +3, Turtles 2.

Damn my girlfriend's gonna be pissed !!

Anyways sign me up please mate !!

Also check out some awesome speed runs of games over on Youtube, they are simply amazing !!

I have my NES hooked up to a 62" t.v. right now, along with my Sega Master Sytem.

I love to play Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle whenever I get time. It's not the best game, but it is long and challenging.

I do, the front-loader version anyway. It was hooked up again not long ago but it's since been placed back in the wardrobe. Nonetheless, I mostly played Super Mario Bros. on the NES, but had I attained a copy of any given classic Zelda game I surely would've played that instead.

I have both the official versions of the US Nintendo "NES"--front and top loaders. But what's awsome is that thanks to things like emulation and the Nintendo Wii the NES along with all the other old consoles are making a comeback. My brother and I were playing my favorite Sega Genesis/Megadrive game on it a little while ago and realized how freaking cool it was. For those who are interested the game in question was Sword of Vermillion--called simply Vermillion in the rest of the world.

I hate to make you update again but add me too. Do I get extra points for mine being a front loader and it survived a house fire about 12 years ago?? I'll get some pics of it and some of the games for you guys.

ps. My SNES also survive the same house fire. I don't think anyone can knock Nintendo's durability. Take that 360 owners!!!!
