WHy are they 'fixing' the museum?

Seriously, with all that needs to be fixed, they're messing around with the museum? Does anyone even LOOK at the museum, ever? Come on, PD; you have more important things to do...

Do a search for goodness sakes. The museum is down because a bug is causing people's game saves to implode. So it's temporarily off line.

The museum-related bug applies to everyone, but others just have to play far longer to reach the 4165 KB file size.

In fairness there wasn't a thread that mentioned the museum in the title anyway, the main thread is called "fatal bug" or something, so in defense of the OP 1. How would you search anyway? and 2. If you read that news message would you assume it was some random weird bug that you need to use the search function for?

If your file is closing in on the 4165KB threshold, I strongly advise you to avoid loading the museum cards. Indeed, it would be wise for everyone to avoid the museum feature until we have confirmation this bug has been resolved.

The in-game message. You know, on the main menu screen? Think you'll find the OP hadn't looked at EVERY post on GTP recently, but read that in-game update, as one should.

IIRC the message in-game says nothing about the bug specifically, just that the museum is offline until the update.

OK I might be wrong there, can't check as grinding the DCC but I don't think the in-game message strongly suggested not looking at the museum, and the save size threshold, as the museum is offline.

They're changing the museum so it doesn't increase your file size beyond 4165kb. I believe it'll use the internet instead of your save game to store files.

No. It's about someone not seeing the threads here that don't refer to the museum in the title anyway, reading the in-game message that the museum is offline and suggesting PD's time is better spent elsewhere. Then a bunch of people saying he is lazy and should have searched on here, which just seems way OTT. I don't know the OP but if you read the thread carefully he is well aware of the bug now, and just riding out various people's knee-jerk rude responses.

For the record I don't know the OP, I just think some folks need to be a little more tolerant.

No, it's like the Police apparently playing fetch with the dogs when there is a riot going on in the next street that deserves their attention. Oh and a sign that not everyone will see saying "something is up" which actually refers to the garage being full of killer dogs.

Sorry I have no idea what you mean? Someone used an analogy, and I used one I thought was more appropriate to the OP's situation. No one said anything about blaming people hit by the bug for opening the museum.

I think the museum is a cool feature but was amazed that Honda got left out.
