Why cant I sell my cars

Hi guys, Everytime I go to sell my cars like my Chevrolet Nascar it says this car cannot be sold. remove it from garage? i want to sell my cars but seems the game wont let me.. Is this a bug or is it meant to be in the Game.

You can sell some prize cars, I think you just can't sell cars over a certain value so you're forced to grind credits I suppose.

You can trade with other people who dont want to spend it for their cars. GT5 Marketplace sub-forum up top ^. You still get something back

It was one of the easiest way to cheat in GT4 was to do the 2x3 lap race at Paris (George V) and win a $250,000 car. You can keep doing the race over and keep winning the same car. Like someone said earlier there are ways you can get rid of any cars although the market place dictates (as it does in real life) their values and demands.

I think it is was a strategy to make the game longer because of its lack of content(A-Spec events). Also, I think that´s why you only win prize cars once. I think it sucks because there has been days I got bored really quick playng GT5(grinding), and this is something that should happen after at least a year of playing it.

@mykem There was an easier one which I personally loved. Beginer on Costa d´Amalfi. 2 races, 2 laps each, a Rally Concept Toyota worth 265,000 Cr. I did that like a million times.

I think it sucks.
I can see why PD took away the ability to 're-run' events for more prize cars,
but the least they could have done with GT5 is to let us sell the prize cars that we don't want.
Then to make it worse they whack a 15-20mill price tag on the top cars.
Thats some serious grinding without being able to sell unwanted cars.

Not just prize cars, this can also apply to those that you have bought in-game.

I bought a Castrol Supra before (rather annoyingly) winning one in B-Spec.

I tried to sell the one I'd bought only to get the Cannot Be Sold message. I tried the same with the prize car... no dice.

yea, this has gotta to be one of the things annoying me the most, not only do i have 2 tank cars i can't do anything with, including selling it.

i bought a few cars, expensive cars, and didn't like em b.c they ended up sucking so bad, i should have read the forums first b4 buying them as ppl are reporting they suck but after spending 2mill on one, i'd like to atleast sell it and get some of my money back. this is pretty stupid, especially when a car i really want shows up in the used car lot and i can't sell anything to get enough money to buy it.
