Buy this, and it should solve your problem for a few hours. They say 8hrs is too long, but I don't worry about it. If she dies, she dies...

Ok, the title of this thread was totally unintentional...

I remember having a Formula One discussion and I don't recall what it was about or how it went, but at one point I made a reference to something unlikely like qualifying in the top ten driving one of the three new 2010 teams, but at some point I said the worlds "do it in a Virgin"; Virgin being one of the three teams new for 2010, of course.

This whole topic is officially a train wreck just because of a poor selection of words. To the topic point, though, the best answer I have at the moment, which I believe was already suggested, is that this is GT5 where lots of stuff makes little sense. There's always been questionable design choices and stuff that doesn't work quite right, although at least they've managed to repair some of them, like the headlights now work when they used to utterly fail to. Perhaps the PP calculation is a little buggy.

OMG! ROFLMAO... :lol::bowdown:

Funniest Thread title EVER...

Plus 1. I laughed pretty hard when I read it.

I don't know what would have caused it to happen though OP.

I'm not sure exactly why,but...
On the X2010, if you limit power to 1250-1400 hp, it actually increases the performance point rating when compared to full power. Perhaps it has something to do with HP/torque curve?

You're either a leper, or your cars have received unaccounted wear. Check equipped modifications and do an oil change. If the PP numbers are still acting odd, then I don't know what to tell you.

OK, I'll bite...

No teeth.

You might want to change it or you question will never get answered. :p

I wasn't kidding was I?

Here are some thread title suggestions that should help things.

"Something is wrong with my PP!"

"My PP isn't as high as it should be."

"Can't get my PP up to the right spot."

"I only touched one little thing and my PP went much lower."

In all seriousness, it's probably just a bug and there's no way of fixing it except PD doing something. I don't have the car, I can't test.

If you switch between the turbos, what are the resulting performance points? Switch between tires, too. Make sure everything is set to “default.” And I do mean make sure.

Oddly enough, the city I live in is going through a similar issue. A former Mayor had the unfortunate name of Harry Baals and they were trying to decide whether to name a building after him. It turns out he was actually one of the best mayors Fort Wayne ever had, but because people are so immature about his name, he is relegated to having a minor side street to honor him.

As for the PP issue, you can use both stage 2 and 3 turbos together and the CLK comes with a Stage 1. I thought of the grip issue, but I'm using soft racing tires, so I don't think that is it. I tend to think this may just be another bug...

I actually saw something about Mr. Harry Baals on Jon Stewart last week.

I have a dear friend that goes by H.J. but it really stands for Harry Johnson...lol cracks me up.

The other night I tried to enter a lobby but my PP was too big. :(

On a more serious note, could it be that you put on a harder softer set of racing slicks than the default?

Enough with the penis jokes already XD

True Story.

Something must be wrong with your hormones, because your testicles need to drop, and not your PP.

it dosen't come with stage 1 turbo u can't buy stage 1
my clk-gtr race car '98 has 799 bhp and 723 pp standard
stage 2 turbo takes it to 727 pp and stage 3 takes it to 728 pp 832 bhp
and droped to 763 pp when i put soft racing tyres on it

Best thread title ever. :dopey:

Your PP probably dropped because the handling got worse. When a car has had a power increase and nothing is done to the handling, it is harder more difficult to control. :scared:

and once you change the tyres it stays at 763 pp even when you change back to hard

but if you go in to settings click on engine power limiter then come back out its back to 728 pp

Really strange, usually when racing softs are put on your pp should actually jump.

I'd say its an odd glitch of sorts. If the actual performance of the car is affected, then PD has to be told about this somehow.

I agree. Why is it that the OP claims to have BOTH mid and high range turbos installed at the same time? I don't believe that.
