Why do my B Spec driver want slicks in the rain?!

Every lap the pit indicator comes on & they want to put slicks on my B Spec car when it's pouring rain!
Why do they do that?

No this was at the end of the first lap!
I started the race on full wets because it was pouring rain & the cars were throwing up rooster tails. By the spoon curve he was in the lead so I went to get a drink, when I came back in he was entering the pits for slicks.
I called for a pit stop to put rains back on but the next lap he was back in for slicks!

Only race I've seen that on is Monza in the formula gt race. All others it's been fine. I noticed that today too. Normally you can set a pit strategy and leave it. This one race tho...totally whacked.

It happened to me at the formula GT race at Suzuka, it's the only race with rain I've had in B Spec.

I re-ran the formula gt series last night and Monza did it to me again. You have to babysit it again. Suzuka was fine for me. Really wonder if it's just the formula gt races that has this issue. Suzuka I started out with rain tires and it was money. Monza tho... Not so much.

Must be a glitch since it's the only race I've run and it has you pit every lap until u choose "racing hard" tires.

This is "quite" normal for b-spec, however if you check the lap times they are always faster with the tires of their choice, so if it's pooring down on them and they are going to drown, but want slicks on their car, let them do it. My Bobs are usually 0.5-4 seconds faster when I don't care which tires they put on. I don't know if that's a bug, because no normal car would be faster with slicks during rain than with rain tires, but that's the case here.

Maybe it's pouring the rain, but watch the car, if you see car's tire kicking up water, mean it's time for rain tire. If it didn't, stick with slicks. Because road are not wet enough...

When you say slicks do you mean soft racing tyres? as i and a friemd of mine both get stuck with certain tyres in b spec whereas ive heard others can use whatever tyre they chose?

Did the same thing to me at Suzuka. I wouldn't let him pit until over halfway through the race, but all the AI cars took on slicks the second lap and every one of them was sliding off every corner. Once his rain tires wore out I forced Bob to take intermediate tires since the track was not completely wet and he lapped the field several times. But I had to stop him from pitting every lap of the race, cause he wanted slicks just like the AI.

You have to set pit strategy also to use rain tyres then bob would not pit in
