Why do people like to ban gtr's or zzII's from their lobbies?

So I joined a drag lobby literally 10 minutes ago, I first went out with my aventador, just worked on it on ssrx, seemed normal. Then I went with my brand new ZZII that I just bought and tuned, I was halfway to the drag strip when the host typed "No zz2 no gtr".

Like why? They're not that fast anyway and could be beaten with a nicely tuned car.
I've seen a couple of lobbies like this before, like, how hard is it to beat a gtr or zzii?

Vanatic the reason wht is because that is what most people ONLY drag. You seen what happened in my room. 8/10 people in the room were using GT-Rs. Sometimes i get so fed up of seeing them i ban awd and limit the power just so i dont have to see those silly cars.

There are very few cars that run with GT-R's and ZZII's and they are insanely easy to tune as well as many tunes floating around on the internet so people rarely tune them on their own anymore. Believe me when I say this, when you see GT-R's and ZZII's constantly 24/7 it gets old quick. I'm to the point nowadays that I get one of these cars and do one run and instantly get bored, it's the same with the MP4, Esprit 350, FXX, Huayra etc.

Well there you go.

People are pissed when they see ZZII's and R35's because EVERYONE has one and the second someone pulls out an R35 or a ZZII the whole room follows suit. Then it becomes really boring really fast.

I'm the guy that begs for a classic JDM drag or classic muscle drag or import vs. tuners...

Usually they agree for import vs tuners then it becomes Viper ACR vs R35.

If you don't try to put a stop to it they will think it's okay everywhere and do it again and again. We have to try and maintain some kind of order here. Most of the drag community is kind of like raising a little kid and having them get away with a lie, once they get away with it once they will do it again and again and again. When you put your foot down they listen or they suffer the consequences in this case being kicked.

I remember once being in a lobby that banned the GTR and ZZII, Guy brought out a veyron, no one bats an eye. I take out my hauyra to drag the veyron, no one bats an eye.

Thats one reason I dont even have an R35 or ZZ2 (until i bought my zz2 now), I've always thought they've always been overused. I'm currently still hunting for sleepers

Some people are just ignorant and stupid. Honestly though if you were in a lobby and racing in a ZR1 would you race a ZZII? I am a man of fair races there is no point or fun in doing a race when you already know the opposing car will dust you from the start not even a tree in a ZR1 will take a good ZZII or GT-R. Seeing as how there are tunes on the internet I automatically assume everyone has the same tune on their ZZII and GT-R so I wouldn't race them with a ZR1 that's just stupid.

It's not a sleeper anymore, pre 1.05 update it beat the Supra but now it needs 200kg of ballast just to hook up and it's one of the slowest muscle cars now, and when I say this I mean good tuned ones "pros" not randoms.

Really? Wow. Haven't been to the drag scene in a while now because of little kids and their super cars with tunes off the internet.

I'd say at least half of the drag community uses internet tunes while 30% attempt to tune and just don't get it and give up because it's as they say to hard, while the remaining 20% fully understand everything and make their own tunes. 80% of the entire drag community runs nitrous even the "pros" so now the drag scene is becoming smaller and smaller.

I call my TZ3 the "Base Godzilla Hunter" it pretty much kills all the average GT-Rs, and because 80% of drag racers use base tunes it wins most of the time XD

.. wanted to call it "Godzilla Assassin" but it the swear filter always turns it into **** -_-

Well, I usually state whether or not I'm spraying. I have a '68 Charger that used to win quite a lot of races. I ALWAYS asked if my opponent sprayed and I ALWAYS stated if I had any and if I would be spraying it.

You don't trust someone, restrict NOS. Simple.

I used to do drag races with friends in which we would set a challenge. Street tunes used to be a big one. Basically street legal cars that ran against each other. Basically street racing. It would be really fun as we might recreate Fast and the Furious scenes or pretend like we're a ricer.... it was general fun...

Its really hard to find a non-nitrous room nowadays (played gt6 on older account, probably why you never seen me before ) This room was the only non-nos room i could find. Earlier today i had to go to a "beginners drag" room just because it was the only one with nos off XD Lets say no one came close to my cars there at all XD

When I'm online there will always be at least one non nitrous lobby open. I will NEVER touch nitrous in GT6, this isn't Need For Speed nitrous needs to be taken out of the game. All it proves is who can hit a button first.

Because Europeans don't understand the concept of simply driving in a straight line. They want corners. (DON'T JUMP ON ME I'M EUROPEAN)

I think it's the other way around, most of the Nitrous lobbies are American. I actually prefer Euro lobbies over American lobbies because of the Nitrous and most of the drama in the game is caused by us Americans and I just hate having to listen to people complain and call me a hacker or a cheater when I beat them. I run with a lot of Euro guys as you can see from my team roster lol.
