It's a picture of the very first online race I had in Gt5. The game had just come out, I had ran a couple races in A-spec and me and my old friend decided to race our starter cars against each other. This was the guy whom with I originally started simracing in LFS years ago. Afterwards he moved away and changed his computer to a mac so we hadn't raced or really even talked for a long time, but when Gt5 came out it sort of brought us back together more.
The race was a 2 lap race on the Nürburgring using our starter cars, me in my Miata and he in his EK Civic. It was an absolutely epic race. First lap was during the day but between the laps it became pitch black. I didn't quite know the track by heart back then so in the dark I was closely following his bright taillights glimmering before me.
After the race I was 100% certain it was worth it to wait for the game so long, and invest so much money in it (had to buy a new screen and a ps3). Totally worth it, the experience will probably stay with me for the rest of my life.
