I've had this one before and I like it. If you've been around here a while you'll know I don't really so colour much, I like the monotone.

This avatar says that, to me, a good game is so much more than great visual graphics. Sure, visuals are nice, but I've had 8bit and 16 bit games that are better than some modern gen games. Gaming is so much more than visuals and in think that is something to keep in mind for everyone, even the folk, like myself, that prioritise visuals in most media.

Sometimes the game as a whole is more than the sum of its pixels.

And that's the philosophy behind my avatar.

I took the photo in the museum at Lord's earlier this year while I was there watching a County Championship match.
I won't be able to use my ticket for the test match at Trent Bridge tomorrow because England wrapped it up today & won the ashes!
If only they'd waited another day.
