Yes another rant. Lol

GT5 is a good game dont get me wrong, but it didnt score any higher than Forza or Shift 2. They took so long developing the game that when they dropped it they missed out on so many key elements that shouldve been implemented. If you pick up a Tuner Mag you can see the countless number of aftermarket accessories that can be bought for almost every car. You go on the web and its the same thing. You go on GT5 and you find that there are only a handful of stock sized rims you can put on your car. There are only 1-3 aero kits when in reality there are hundreds for each car. The sounds of the cars in game are so disapointing everyone at PD needs a beat down in a cage. That is one of the key reasons people love to go to races or drive a race car. We wanna be scared out of our minds when we hit redline. We wanna hear the bass not a bunch of trebble. We wanna hear the growl. Also why are there standard cars in the game. Why would I want to buy a standard car that has ps2 graphics? 1000 cars my ass. 800 of those cars should be blown up or upgraded to premium. Why is paint so hard to manage? Why must I loose a paint chip after 1 use? Why are there paint chips? Why can't I create my own color like reality? Why can't my carbon hood have ventilation? Why can't i change my wheel offset for drifting? Why when I lower a car to the max it still sits like its on stilts? How come car washes dont do anything even with HDMI? The only reason I bought GT5 is because it was the only game on PS3 that has a Nissan R33 besides Shift I think. Even that car's aero kits should be much better than the stupid front lip they give you. All these updates and none of them have anything we actually care about. The DLC's are a waste. Who wants a Nissan Leaf? Anybody? How bout the old lady playing bingo? Oh not even you. Who wants a mini? Oh wait no one because Italian Job was years ago. What about a Lambo? Oh yea everyone so make us by a leaf and a mini just to get one. Developers need to listen to gamers and stop listening to the old jewish guy next to them who says "yea lets do it" as he knows nothing about the culture. All and all I'm glad gamestop has a game trading lane, or else I wouldve of spent more than 20 bucks on a game not worth a penny more. Dont take this as I dont like the game, because I do, but for 59.99 PD shouldve went all out and gave people what they want.

You no doubt raise a bunch of tired old points that have already been discussed ad nauseum, but I'll never know because you have buried them in an incomprehensible jumble of brain farts.

we already know all that but hey i dont care i like it
:D and try do game it not easy they have make each line for body kit imagine hows that hard buddy think before saying making game is not easy at all i take 100 person willing to creat it

I think we should keep these points as relevant as possible for any game. Developers need to know and feel the heat coming from gamers. I know they read these forums for a fact, I know a few. A revolution is always healthy from time to time.

Why does there need to be another complaint thread? Why can't people just be happy with what they have?

It's all about how realistic you want to be. GT5 has the most realistic physics on any console.

Agree but they could be so much better though. I guess the PS3 cant take much more.

Triple post.. :banghead:

I found that part interesting. You know Sony decides the prices right? And nearly all if not all PS3 games have a starting price of $60 USD.

Also you're bit on the DLC, you're complaining about 2 cars, while there were six in this months DLC, not to mention one of the most anticipated cars of the past year and a half, the Lamborghini Aventador. And how can you not be pleased about the new "Premiumized" Jag Race Car. Maybe those 800 cars (in your opinion) will also be premiumized. Also I like the Mini. I'm just hoping for a RM on it to make it into a rally car now.

Lol you should see his other thread!

There are games 5+ years old on the consoles that are more realistic. I can think of one that turns 13 this year.

No game is perfect, and won't tailor to every individual's tastes and wants.
They're valid points i'm sure and I understanding where you're coming from, but I think they concentrated on the game mechanics more than anything else and that puts other features like(spoilers, wheels etc) on a "less" important priority.
So,if one can imagine, that PD tries to create each car as close to its realworld counterpart as they can in terms of the cars' characteristics(handling, stopping, acceleration etc).
When you've got more than a 1000 cars to create....
And the fact that "KAZ"(Kazunori Yamauchi) is a perfectionist....
These are IMO,just a few things that contribute to the duration of time we "gamers" had to wait for the games' release.
In the end,we should applaud what KAZ has achieved, because there's no other like it.
GT is a driving sim ,and that's what PD aims to achieve.

I agree. Also, if you are including all consoles, then GT5 is maybe number 5.

I like the game.
I like the Leaf. The Prius. The Beetle. And yes, the slow little Fiat.
And what does GT5 have to do with an old Jewish guy?

It's 2012 and developer need to step there ish up PERIOD. I don't care about the trials and tribulations. I want my 60 bucks worth(well 20 in this case) I want a game that satisfies all aspects of the car culture. That is true simulation. Billion dollar industry and they still have a such thing called bugs. It's a shame. I want my damn Big Mac.

I like the beetle for my GF. I dunno about racing it in this era.
It's called a Leaf. LOL that says it all.

KAZ needs to be more of a perfectionist then. 200 to create. 800 to copy and paste.

That's because GT5 doesn't advertise itself as "The Real Ricing Simulator".
