Are you at school or something where they don't allow somebody to access their e-mail account?

Have you been previously banned?

Have you been previously banned?
No im quite new to this site and I use my own Pc

Well, maybe it just doesn't allow AOL Email Addresses, although I doubt that's the case. Jordan might be able to give you an answer.

I seriously doubt that since I originally registered with an AOL email address more than two and a half years ago. I never had a problem then or until I stopped using that address a few months ago.

Yeah, that's why I said I doubted it, too. I don't know then. Just keep trying. Enter it in, check exactly what you entered in, etc. I have no idea how else to help.

Actually, AOL addresses are banned from the site and have been for several months now. Besides the fact that I hate AOL, AOL blocks mail from my server because of the volume of mail that GTPlanet sends out with new post notifications, registration confirmations, etc. Of course, confirmation is required, so AOL users would be unable to complete the sign up process. By preventing anyone from registering with an AOL address this problem is avoided.

If you registered with an AOL address before AOL was banned then nothing happens. Of course, you won't be able to receive mail from us.

Or you can just have your AOL members turn thier AOL spam block off......
Simple solutions.

So in other words, you'd have everyone who signs up at the site told to turn off their AOL spam block? So they then get tons of spam from everywhere. Notwithstanding the fact that many people wouldn't know how to.

Jordan - Perhaps you could put, if you haven't already (I don't recall seeing one when I signed up, but that WAS a while ago), a notification that AOL e-mail addresses cannot be used for sign-up purposes?

My AOL spam block is off. I dont receive a lick of spam. And even if someone with AOL was to sign up but it was blocked, it goes right to the spam folder for you to open it.
So yes, a notification on the registration screen informing AOL users to turn thier spam block off or on low would be a great thing.

I suppose this is probably the best place to ask this question: Ever since I changed my email address from my optusnet.com.au to my gmail.com address I've only recieved two emails, one saying that my email address change was confirmed and one telling me about the new issue of GTP insider. I did this change probably 6-7 weeks ago, are you just not sending mail out to everyone now or is something wrong with the email change or something?

I only receive GTP Insider monthly, and I have Email Notification of Private Messages on. That's all I get. I never have got any other email from them. If you did, it would be in the settings. What other types of Emails were you receiving?
