Why is the game so blurry?

Its true - GT5p did look better. If you want to blame someone/something, blame GTPSP. Had Polyphony not worked on PSP, there would have been no standard cars (modeling would have been better overall), and there would have been no reductions in antialising for the 1080p modes, which results in an overall rougher looking graphics.

Ive just been checking out some footage from GT5P and in particular the cockpits and some are very blurry.

As an example Ive posted links to 2 Videos of the Lotus 11r, and its sad that it seems to have gone backwards in fidelity.

Also I don't know what has happened with the HDR lighting model but in bright day light on GT5 you can hardly see the dials in most cars when the sun isn't in the cockpit, which is a shame because he goes too all the effort to model the cockpits and half the time its difficult too see them properly.

When I drive my car and the suns out I can still make out the dials and the details of the dash clearly.

I'm gutted because I wanted to drive with at very least the same Fidelity of prologue.

Yeah I noticed this too, Forza 3 cockpits were the same. For some reason they think cars are naturally pitch black inside when there's no direct sunlight.

That is quite a difference.

Great video. Prologue looks much better. I seriously doubt this game has been in development for more than 5 years. The shadows look better on Prologue too, I'm enjoying the game, but the visual quality is way lower than what I was expecting for a GT game on the PS3, specially when you take in to consideration what they have done before on lower spec hardware. Did PD dropped the ball this time?
