Why is there no BMW E30 or E36 in the game?

Pure? Yet E92 is loaded with unecessary luxuries features?
 
The problem is PD let their favouritism get ahead of designing a balanced car list. That's why there are so many Skyline's, Evo's, Impreza's and the like but no E30 or E36 or Ferrari 355's and 360's.

Obviously and sadly true. And obviously it's too late for GT5, but hopefully this will be addressed in GT6. It's borderline offensive how many essentially duplicate cars are in this game, all supposedly "different" because of a shinier emblem, or 10hp more/less, or a new paint color. Come on PD.
 
To be frankly honest!!

I'm kind of glad there is no E30 in GT5...
Would depress me even more seeing as my E30 isn't running!....
 
Theres only ONE Maserati in GT5, there's only ONE Bugatti, there's only THREE McLarens, there's only ONE Cadillac and there's NO Koenigsegg.

If you want to know WHY - ask PD (first off, find their non-existent feedback section).
Asking people, outside of PD, why PD have/haven't included certain things - will result in a maelstrom of GUESSES, from people who are thinking the same thing.

• He caters for Rally, Touring, Super GT, K, Super, Muscle, Concept, Sports, Kit, Prototype, Formula, Hot/Hatchback, Convertible, Historic, Le Mans and Saloon cars.

• All of the above from Japan, Korea, Ireland, Canada, France, America, Britain, Germany, Italy and Spain.

Next time do your revision, instead of setting the foundations for a flame war.

That's what i'm doing, sharing my opinion. I love to see everyone rush to Kaz's defense. It's quite funny. And then watch people take comments so seriously.. Trolling is fun, you should try it some time.
 
I get the frustration with GT5, question is, what if GT6 is only slightly different? PD's approach in my opinion has been pretty flawed, I hope the correct it, now back to the "other" game.
 
Actually i have high hopes for GT6. But more than likely those hopes will be dashed. The game really needs to have some things that make me say 'WOW' in order for be to be impressed.

But more than likely it will be GT5 with a different menu and more premium cars, with a "new feature" added here and there..

Ugh, OT finally: I don't know why such popular cars haven't been included. PD only have so many resources and sometimes they just can't get around to stuff more than likely. They're not superhuman.
 
Maybe they're building an arsenal of BMW race cars for GT6. Art cars, Batmobile, Schnitzer M3, Alpina, Super Touring M3. We had the Race Conversion E36 in GT2. GT5 has the WTCC 320, 2002 and ALMS GTR. Who knows, maybe a standard E30 didn't look quite right. It does puzzle me we have the 190E in road and race trim with no proper period M3 to challenge it. We'll have to wait and see.

Is there something in the AUP about getting butthurt from a post? Nope.

If you get pissed off, frankly that's a personal issue you have to deal with, within your self.

What would permit me getting banned? Why does everyone try to be a mod? Always warning about "warnings" and "bans". I doubt i would lose sleep if i got banned. You make it seem as if i were paid to be on here..

Apparently you know nothing about the business side of video games, like how much money PD has to dish out to acquire licenses for cars. 'Tis the main reason we don't have Porsche.

Brainlessly throwing around with profanity in abyss of ignorance, blinded by prejudice, combined with a decent amount of unwanted self-irony, along with the intention of trolling hindered by an inability of perceiving envisaged rules, is ludicrous.
 
Eh, I would love to see the E30 modeled in GT in the detail that they do. Turn 10's model from Forza 2 isn't doing me any good. Although I'd drive the Forza one just for the sound, the model is lacking some details, and above all the lighting doesn't match well with it.

Something seems off in the Forza version.
 
I agree with this^^. I want to drive it so much but, even that PS2 version of the Simbin touring car game looked better.
