The E30 M3 & E36 M3 are some of the purest, most passionate sports cars ever made.

I honestly think they just hate BMW because they only include ~8 or so BMWs in the game.

Because kaz likes GTR's, hence why theres 56million of them in the game....

Problem is, it's not just that (even though a part of it probably is) because many iconic Japanese sports cars are also missing... that's what's silly and stupid really.

What especially makes this worse is some of these missing cars WERE IN previous GT games. Another from an Aus perspective (leave a Commodore SS in (which I love) but remove the FPV's?? Where's the sense?)

You know what really rubs it in... a hell of a lot of the cars mentioned above are available in Forza 4.

The most painful thing, is not being able to use a G25/27 on the Xbox natively.

Funnily enough, it's some of the cars listed above that are in Forza that are the most fun to drive and why I still occassionally play it.

Don't get me wrong though, I'm no fanboy. I been playing GT since GT1 and played up to and including GT4, but went to Forza after realising it was a better overall game and with each release, they seem to care and improve the game in much more meaningful ways than PD. BUT I bought a PS3 in the last year or two, JUST for GT5. Don't even use the Blu-Ray and yet to (and pretty much won't) play any other games. Simply because I know a few people who race online, and there's nothing better than good hard clean racing with people you do (and don't) know. That is definately awesome, although there are plenty of improvements to be made in the online aspect. Bloody awesome to be able to drive examples of cars you may have owned or just driven in real life, with mates, around some of the best race tracks in the real and virtual world. It's unfortunate that PD hasn't changed though, there's a huge list of things that make you go hmmm. But like they're gonna listen when it's impossible to even contact them.

Seriously, a car wash? The oil change system... let's not... and like the standard car cockpit view. First time I seen it, I thought it was a bug in the game, as have many others, that is just... wow.

But again, still can't stop racing daily, and at the end of the day, we have some complaints and there are some issues with a video game... talk about first world problems... :/

I used to drive the e36 bmw m3 a lot back in the days, a friend of mine owned one back in 98 or so. The one I drove was a special model at that, black/purple interior, almost 350 bhp, 6 gear manual and 4 exhausts, top seed of 280 kmh which it actually easily achieved, all standard on this special model.

It's probably got something to do with bad timing in relation to the release of Gran Turismo. There aren't that many cars from the 1990's and 1980's, compared to cars from 2000 or later (when the Gran Turismo games, from which the standard cars are taken, were made). As the E30 and E36 belongs to the 80's and 90's era, there was simply a narrower space for them to get on the list.
