I checked over here from the "Stop the Epidemic" thread to see what you what I said about your suggestion. Well, you were right. This was just merely a suggestion, not a complaint. While I may have strong opinions on things, I am always man enough to admit when I'm wrong. I am sorry for this.

Well, well well.......next time read the post properly before going off on one of your thread police tangents.

Apology accepted....Moving on.

But what I dont understand is why when ever I look into a thread that is asking why the game is missing this or shouldnt the game allow that... I see you complaining about the thread... talk about epidemics :banghead:

So... You're complaining about my complaints about people complaining, even after I said I'm sorry. Wait... I guess I'm complaining about you complaining about my complaints about other people complaining. This is just an endless string of complaints. Besides, what does my apology to this other guy have to do with you? Are you looking for an apology too? If you want to tell the world that I am a complainer and a Hypocrite, then go straight ahead. I have no desire to start a flame war with you.

Guess someone allready stopped the epidemic for you...

You can allways open you own GT forum and 🤬 every one that doesnt agree with your view on the game istead of filling other peoples thread with your epidemic.

OT, but why are you going on every possible thread saying the same thing: "Guess someone allready stopped the epidemic for you..."?

You did the same on the VW Beetle thread. Move on friend. :)

----- Now, ontopic.

About daylights, I want them too, as we can flash the highbeams, I would like to have an option similar to the handbrake, if we hold the headlights button for more than 2secs, it get permanently on.

Oh and I would love to use my emergency flasher and my blinkers that would be epic I already like the headlights, horns and wipers

I know that this is one of those 1% things that not many people care about, but why cant we switch on headlights in the day time?
The reason is simple: they don't have headlight animations for Standard cars and they don't want to show abrupt transitions from lights off to lights on for them.

Really??? Where do you get your information? Try racing the seasonal B-spec Le Sarthe, I watched as my standard cars lights come on and went off no problem. There were no abrupt lighting changes.

Then, I don't know what to think (for sure, I didn't think of La Sarthe; yes: you're right). If lights turn on/off by themselves seamlessly even on Standard cars, technically there shouldn't be any problem in allowing players full control of them.

It looks funny with Standard cars with pop-up lights, though. :dopey:

That's what I was thinking: with just one track* where lights can be turned on (by themselves) in the middle of the race it would be harder for players to notice than on several Standard cars something is not right on that regard.

* With the recent inclusion of Special Stage Route X, now two tracks

To be honest, you've got to be paying attention when it happens, because it's instant; usually (for me) it's a case of all of a sudden you realise the lights are on, but didn't actually see them turn on. There's no trickery, mind you, e.g. by waiting for a camera change or something. Perhaps I'm just unobservant. If you could turn the lights on and off at will, there would then be far more chances to see the (lack of) transition on the Standards. (Hmm, that's as clear as mud. I'm tired.)

No doubt this aspect (and the lack of information on the headlight beam patterns, which seem to differ from car to car on the Premiums) is partly responsible for the lack of "flashing" and for the fixed high-beams on Standards, whilst the automatic headlights are probably just nannying, like the gear indicator was...

I think someone mentioned this on here:

Need For Speed Road Challenge on the original Playstation had a brilliant way. As a cop, if I remember correctly:

L1+Up press: Activate Blues
Up Press: Horn
Up hold: Activate twos
L1+Left: Left indicator
L1+ Right: Right indicator
L1+Down: Hazard lights

Now, not saying GT should do this, but it would be nice to implement a combo button function, say making the R1 and L1 as Combo modifiers. This would allow the D-Pad on a DS3 to change from 4 to 12 buttons, while losing R1 and L1. So it's a net increase of 6 buttons.

GT could have a simple way to implement a deeper light system.

UP D-Pad
Hold for 1s switches them on
Tap Once for high-low beam switch
Quick double Tap to flash.

You dont require a combo system at all.

Oh man that awesome I gotta search amazon but that game

What would be the point of having headlights in the day!?! waste power and burn your headlights out?

This thread = :banghead:
This is just getting stupid. People are complaining about stupid things. 1. Why do you need headlights during the day? (Even if you want it for photomode, just hold the button). Why do you want to turn off the wipers in the rain? You guys are looking for random 🤬 just to complain about.

No, that's just your opinion. If you don't like it, leave.

Didnt the old Pace car from gt4 have the option to turn on and off the blues? Would have thought it would be fairly simple to impliment.

Glad there are other people who want this too !!

We need a thread to explain what complaining is cause it like disagreeing is the same as complaining to some folk on here guess this not a place to voice our opinion

Yeah, I can't see why this is complaining. We have just ideas to make our game better. Is that bad? I don't demand impossible things, this is straightforward and quite simple thing to implement and it would improve the game (maybe not for everyone, but some people like the idea as from posts here).

Well here in Scandinavia its law, so by definition, if you want reality in the game, then volvo should have its lights on during daytime.
How many Saabs and Volvo's do you see in Canada without their lights on all the time?

I like having lights off in daytime, allows me to close up and flash my lights at people online!

only annoying thing is in the 24 hour race it turns the lights off too soon for my liking so have to hold down flash lights.

It's a simple and obvious feature (along with the wipers) that has no reason not to be in the game!

This, when raining, standard cockpits are useless, should not be that complicated to implement I guess.

Don't enter and read stupid threads then, problem solved.
