Really? I don't use it myself, but how annoying for those who do! I hate the way this game is lacking in consistency & cohesion. I hate the way they remove features & options, forcing us to do things their way for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Options Kaz, options, please!

Why PD whyyyyy :banghead:
It takes out the fun from arcade mode

Anybody else feel the same
Please reply thanx in advance

I have been asking myself the same question. I have a friend over every tuesday, explicitly to play GT6 Party Play, and while I can do without the driving line, he is sort of newer to racing than I am, and needs and wants the Driving line...

When I play Party Play (two players, split screen) it wasn't there.

It sounds as though it is not available for Party Play but is for Arcade Modes...which is strange as you would expect it to just be available for everything.

Two-player split-screen has, afaik, always been part of Arcade Mode. It is strange that it is not there. Considering how much PD wanted to get this game out before X-mas (let's not kid ourselves, it is The Reason the game seems so unfinished.) it might have been 'forgotten' in the general shuffle.

Or it's because the PS4 had just come out? 💡

I don't think it worked in GT5's arcade split screen either, unless this is a duplicate thread. I'd guess it takes up too much processing power, at least if both players use it, which would explain why neither player is able to do so.

The driving line reminds me when the geniuses at Fox decided that hockey was too quick for the people watching to see the puck, so they added a chip to the puck that left a streak on the screen when the puck exceeded a certain speed...

Ok yes but it's still fun to play with it on .
It's like you have always driven a auto box and suddenly switch to manual

So much was left out in Arcade, You cant even turn on or turn up vehicle damage.. Or tire wear, or fuel consumption... my buddy and I were all excited too have a 4 hour endurance race... But we cant Because literally ALL the settings we want too use can only be accessed via Online... Which is pretty effing stupid in my opinion... just more of KAZ and his Tunnel VISION
