Why no one is talking about how ridiculously expensive the Jaguar XJ13 is?

12 million. This is roughly 7 hours of grind of Fishermans Ranch Dirt Champions. And after we seen this, Ferrari 330p4, Porsche 917k, Shelby Daytona, Ferrari 250 GTO, Jaguar D-Type and Mercedes S barker Tourer will probably end up costing like this.

And no I dont want everything in 1 week either.

First time playing Gran Turismo?
Look at my profile does it look like my first Gran Turismo game? Keep going like that and we will get nerf to Fishermans Ranch Dirt Champions.
12 million? Not 20? YES!!! This is my favorite car, so I'm excited it's cheaper
Despite being 20m in earlier games, Its actually way easier to obtain this car in earlier games. But I guess fanboys will be fanboys forever.

They are talking about it here:
Legendary cars dealer refresh

The mercedes barker costs 20m I think. Horrible. I won’t buy it because I don’t care about that car or the jag for example, but sad for other people who want it.
People seems to be blinded by being cheaper instantly makes it easier to obtain. Its not. Jaguar Xj13 requires a lot more grind to obtain then earlier games. This pricing seriously needs to require some attenton. Its a clear sign of pushing MTX.

I did but nobody cared. This game is rather for some special people. At least GT is not only car game on the market and we can use all "legendary" cars there. It's so sad but what can we do...

Fanboy? Why exactly? Because something is almost half the price? It is THE premium car I want. I had it in 6 and Sport. But from what you're saying I can't be happy it's way less?

I’m so glad I’m not a completionist in this sense. Have no need for these old classic cars, wouldn’t race them, definitely wouldn’t waste tens of millions on them.
But I am. :D I have all cars in all last Forzas without any problem. Good thing is I can check them in Forzavista when they are blocked in GT.

Our only option:

it's not easier to obtain because it's cheaper, max payout in a race is 97k or 115k if you want to do 20 minute race, in GTS you could easily do 300k per race so 20 mil is actually doable, this time around it's pay up or shut up

You can make 1.7 million per hour in 7, roughly about the same as sport. Given it's almost half the price, it's much easier to obtain

problem is it horrible dirt physics that you have to grind and let's not forget it's timed, meaning they literally introduced fomo, besides i don't know about you but not everyone living in their moms basement and play gt7 24/7
this is the root of the problem, people like you who will find excuse for everything just to defend their masters and that's why they getaway with it
enjoy your pointless grind

I'd like something like last wtc championship with various tracks and equal payout, it takes roughly an hour to complete and pays 480k lol
this game was designed around this mega transactions and that's a fact, besides champioships are harder to complete because you can't just quit and do something else, you have to follow through till the end

If it's so dumb just play something else  I heard GTA Online is much less of a grind :dunce:
R* is dead company, everybody left years ago. Have you ever wondered there are no new games? That's the reason.

I play many racing games and many are much better than this dumb grind fest. What I don't have anywhere else? So good graphics with similar physics and so many road cars. Bathurst is awesome with a race car but only GT offers normal road cars with this graphics, weather and day/night cycle. The problem is most of the content in the game is blocked.

unlike this you can take your time in gta o and cars don't just disappear in couple of days from the list, besides i never felt i needed to own everything in gta o and mission variaty is out of comparison
never spend a dime on it and never felt like i was in fomo state, here there's literally nothing to do for me after beating the campaign

Now it's 12M and it's 7h grind like you pointed. Then for 20M, it's 12-13h which is insane.
Moreso with only 1 track to do, at least give us different 1 lap race of 3min.
Even for people with a lot of time, it's too much. Guess people will begin to buy credit from then which I guess is smart for PD.

I don't care about one lap races. Why Forza gives you credits according to a race length? Because it makes sense. You can choose anything you want and earn credits. Because it's a game you want to play. GT is game you have to hate and throw into garbage when you realize it's dead and 80 % of content is locked behind microtransactions.

Seem's like you are giving yourself the answer here... Forza is a better place for you. I like the grind, i like that every car feels special & not everyone can get everything... I'm in tears for not having the porsche invite, or that i got the huayra over the carrera gt... But the day i will get my loved Carrera GT will come & i will be so happy, more happy then when i could just run into the dealer and buy it... 🤷🏻‍♂️

For me I don’t think about it because of the nightmares the historic cup gave me in GT5 and the 20m I needed to buy it or the 330p or the J2

Nightmares! Still wake up in cold sweats about that ;)

I'm just enjoying the game. No panic or rush to do anything. I plan on playing GT7 for years. I'm basically a middle aged man, who works full time and has a wife that's not that well who I take care of to the best of my ability. So please don't go hurling insults at me or anyone else on here because they don't agree with you.

There have been countless threads with people complaining about money. I was drawn to this because I saw my favorite car in the title and was actually happy it was almost half price. You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm also entitled to mine. There's no need to insult others, especially when you have no idea who they are or what they do

I don't like Forza too much it was just an example how modern game works. GT feels like 20 years old grind fest.

Imagine normal games like PC2 where you have everything with great physics.

I played for a YEAR in GTS to get that 20mil Jag, and guess what....in February I was at almost 18mil. I even sold a lot of 1 mil cars I had, just for that Jag. I was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
But on March 4th, I had to make space on my PS4 for GT7, so I had to uninstall GTS. And of course credits couldn't be transferred.
The dream of driving that amazing car again (since GT5 and GT6) was on hold. I thought "ok, relax, maybe it'll be easier to get it in GT7"

Then last night I saw the price in GT7
