it is a Mad Catz steering wheel with pedals and a shifter on the side next to the wheel.i bouhgt it to play GT2 and i want to use it for GT3 now that i dont have a PS1 anymore. any help?

Well, if it doesn't have a connector like the DS2s, or a USB connector, I doubt it will work.

FWIW I had several MadCatz "dualshock2" knockoff controllers, because genuine Sony ones could not be found when I bought my PS2. None of the damn things worked at all, or if they did, they would only work as a single controller - not with the Sony one plugged in the other port. I think the MadCatz stuff just sucks.

At certain points in the game my stress level rose, and I vented some pressure on my controller. I've gone through 4 in the 18 omnths I've owned my PS2.

My current controller is a Madcatz and it has held up surprisingly well. Although the vibration control no longer works. Seems a gravitational refraction knocked 'em loose inside. The part about the Madcatz that I like is the rubber-ish cushion on the grips. Much nicer over time.

If I recall back more than 6 months ago, I used a Madcatz steering wheel and it had the regular adapter. It was somewhat uncomfortable to use as I don't think someone with my body frame was intended in the design. One thing that I foudn with my current Madctaz is that it would conviently come unplugged from the extension cords that I use on the controller. I ended up "modifying" the connection so that it had more presusre on the fitting, and less likely to come unplugged.

I think I had the one you have - I gave it away before I bought GT3, so I don't if it works. It did work with RR5.
