Why the price jump in G27s?

I probably missed something but why are G27s selling for over $300 on eBay now?

supply and demand, I got $200 for my old G25 on craigslist and that was before GT5 was even released.

GT5 has really peaked the demand for racing wheels since release, Logitech is regularly out of stock, and did you notice Fanatec getting dominated by orders and Thrustmaster selling out of a $600 wheel? It's madness out there!!

I was considering a G27 last summer and I noticed that the price creeped up from ~$200USD to ~$300USD today. folks trying to cash in on GT5 popularity!

I ordered a G27 for 299€. but i don't care anymore. its madness its that difficult to find one.
