Kicked because i was to fast in one race at my fave track on the game (Eiger Nordwand). Which was funny. The following PM's killed me.

Yeah, I'm too poor to afford a wheel so I can't have that advantage of more precise acceleration control. You are right, driving aids help keep controller users competitive, and it really bugs me when I can hear peoples wheels in through their mics, then they call me a noob when I say that I can here their wheels and ask for driving aids so I can keep competitive.

I use ds3, don't use aids and keep up with wheel users no bother, there is not a great deal difference in lap times, only when using aids is the differance noticeable. Getting back on topic its a bit harsh getting kicked for asking to allow aids but if you enter a non aids room it stands to reason they don't want them on, there are plenty of novice driving aid rooms online so just stick to those.

You don't even understand, I get kicked for using them even if they are allowed sometimes.

When I host a room I never allow any aids except ASM and ABS and no one ever complains.

When I was on the DS3 controller I never needed to use any of the aids, I just learned how to tune my car to correct any issue that I was having.

If the host is allowing you to use aids and then kicking you for using them is pretty low. Personally, if someone is going to kick you for no good reason then they really aren't worth racing with in the first place.

Right. For example, I was in a room today, they were in a race and after the race, the host said this exact thing before he kicked me 'I didn't allow you into my room'. It said nothing about private or don't join or friends only in the title. When they don't give you a legit reason, that is way low.

Hey Guys.... Use the report button instead of beeing " minimods " aka. " kapos "...

Kapos in the concentration camps got better food, but You dont get nothing,
You only look ridiculous. Let the REAL mods do their work.

Almost 10 first posts in this thread was by minimods.... And its not the only thread...

I got really irritated earlier over being kicked for no reason.

I joined a room like normal, there were about 7 or 8 peoples that all seemed to know eachother i then spent over 10 minutes setting up my skyline 12 black edition since i hadn't touched it until today, everyone else was doing the same as they seem like serious GTers and spent time on set up.
And then i get kicked and banned from re-entering the room just before the race starts for absolutely no reason.
The worst of all is that it took me over 30 minutes to find a decent room on that track with good connection then 10 minutes of set up to get kicked for no reason, he could have at least kicked me straight away as i entered the room or described the room as friends only/private.

I don't usually moan so much but it wasted most of the time i had spare to play GT today.

I feel your pain, we run nightly rooms and no one gets kicked for no reason. We are limited to 12 each night at the moment due to the 'Bug' but you would be welcome if you race fair.

Will definally add you and check the room out :) thanks

I agree with this, I've gotten kicked twice in the last 6 months... the first was because I was driving a veyron in a drag racing lobby. I wasn't even racing...
The host just hated the car and kicked me before I could even get back to my garage.
The 2nd time, was because I joined a lobby that apparently was closed to Americans. Got kicked before I could finish loading.

Oh, I got kicked a third time for destroying the host (who was winning every race before I showed up) in like 3 races in a row. the third race, I beat him by 30 seconds. That one made me laugh. I was like "HA HA, Forza NOOB".

For having a UK flag when I enter some US rooms :grumpy:

Won't tarnish all those across the pond though... some are very welcoming.

I've been kicked only because my Zonda R was faster than this one pack of Veyrons (I got into a room JAMMED with Veyrons; I was the only-non.) and I won, so the host promptly kicked me out and I also got two threatening messages saying I was reported for cheating.

It goes to show that if you beat someone, they will start whining and do everything to take you down.

I always join rooms with nice people feel sorry for you

But once I got kicked by accidentally slamming into the back of someone's car and it was there fault for early braking

I've witnessed only 2 mass room kicking and they were both from little kids not having their way.

The first time was in a drag room where instead of people putting the time up to start dragging the host yelled "3...2...1...go!" When the rest of the racers told him to cut it out, he told them that they were mad because he kept beating them. Eventually they ignored him and started ghosting anyways to the hosts dismay. He did'nt know what we were doing and told us to cut it out. A few of the racers in there called him a total noob, while others tried to explain the concept of ghosting to him. He was greatly upset and actually kicked everyone from the room.

The 2nd time was in a cop room, where the host was trying some sort of road block thing with the rest of the cops. Of course, with the rest of us being robbers, we didnt comply with the host and just drove through them whenever they tried to set up. Eventually the host had enough and kicked everyone who wasnt a cop.

I've also seen the host of a room get voted out because he didnt understand a lick of english, thus he couldnt start any races when we told him we were ready. We even tried to translate what we were trying to tell him, but he simply ignored us and just drove around the circuit.

If it is a little kid hosting a open lobby then that's a room that I don't want to be part of.

Racism does play a big role. I usually get harassed and booted because of my PSN name, and im not even african american!

If your PSN is the same has your GTP name,i can see why you get booted

I got booted the day after the last lot of DLC came out because the 12yo host and his friends couldn't afford it.
Wasn't showing off or anything, just trying to break them in... :-)

The only time that I ever really got aggravated by being kicked is when I got disconnected from a room that I was hosting. I was in a room full of friends and when I rejoined the room I created the new host, who wasn't a friend, kicked me! :grumpy:

My revenge was to block the individual who kicked me, then create a new room and invite everyone that was in my old room into the new room. Everyone came to the new room.

For no reason, and most of the time it's because my country flag is Canada. I joined a game with Brits and they were upset because I was Canadian, I got kicked after tons of hate. Let's just say I don't play online anymore...

Does GTP have track days at the Nurburgring or anything? Because the rest of the games I join are all full of people using DS3s and Veyrons. I want to have a legitimate, fun, realistic track day... :indiff:

You best bet is just to host your own open lobbies.

Although I beleive you, I have yet to meet a brit who has bad words for a canadian. Dont give up online, its the best part of GT5! Race in friends lobbies!

If I host a room all are welcome unless lag issues occur.
I've had fun racing with people from most locations but I have been kicked for no apparent reason also.
Racing with friends is the best route.
