otakukid96Yeah, I'm too poor to afford a wheel so I can't have that advantage of more precise acceleration control. You are right, driving aids help keep controller users competitive, and it really bugs me when I can hear peoples wheels in through their mics, then they call me a noob when I say that I can here their wheels and ask for driving aids so I can keep competitive.
I use ds3, don't use aids and keep up with wheel users no bother, there is not a great deal difference in lap times, only when using aids is the differance noticeable. Getting back on topic its a bit harsh getting kicked for asking to allow aids but if you enter a non aids room it stands to reason they don't want them on, there are plenty of novice driving aid rooms online so just stick to those.
If the host is allowing you to use aids and then kicking you for using them is pretty low. Personally, if someone is going to kick you for no good reason then they really aren't worth racing with in the first place. You don't even understand, I get kicked for using them even if they are allowed sometimes.

I got really irritated earlier over being kicked for no reason.
I joined a room like normal, there were about 7 or 8 peoples that all seemed to know eachother i then spent over 10 minutes setting up my skyline 12 black edition since i hadn't touched it until today, everyone else was doing the same as they seem like serious GTers and spent time on set up.
And then i get kicked and banned from re-entering the room just before the race starts for absolutely no reason.
The worst of all is that it took me over 30 minutes to find a decent room on that track with good connection then 10 minutes of set up to get kicked for no reason, he could have at least kicked me straight away as i entered the room or described the room as friends only/private.
I don't usually moan so much but it wasted most of the time i had spare to play GT today.
berty1979I feel your pain, we run nightly rooms and no one gets kicked for no reason. We are limited to 12 each night at the moment due to the 'Bug' but you would be welcome if you race fair.
I just turned up....... Then I was kicked for no apparent reason.
Aunt JemimaRacism does play a big role. I usually get harassed and booted because of my PSN name, and im not even african american!![]()
You best bet is just to host your own open lobbies. For no reason, and most of the time it's because my country flag is Canada. I joined a game with Brits and they were upset because I was Canadian, I got kicked after tons of hate. Let's just say I don't play online anymore...
Does GTP have track days at the Nurburgring or anything? Because the rest of the games I join are all full of people using DS3s and Veyrons. I want to have a legitimate, fun, realistic track day...![]()
