having played online racin since june of last year i can pproudly say i have only been kicked from a lobby online 3 times. the first was bcuz i was mistaken for another driver, the second bcuz the host had a grudge against my friend, the third cuz i spawned in a room full of 12-15 yr olds. i never got kicked for disobeying or disrespecting the lobby, the host, or the rules.I run with a select group of racers now and prob wont be gettin kicked anytime soon. these racers helped me up my game. I follow all rules which is so easy and i dont try to dictate to the host how his room/lobby should be run. however some GT5 players think this is their right. they complain bout y they gotta stay in Pitarea b4 race starts and sometimes have the nerve to complain bout the cars they allowed to run for that race. we usually play winner picks car, and go from there, but newer players to the lobby will just pick a car without realizin that. we try to explain it and ask to choose the right car or something equal, but this dont always work as that player will try to dictate to host what cars we should be runnin cuz he dont have that car or its not setup[ or he dont like that car cuz it's slow or something. 20 secs later he is back in the main lobby wonderin y he got kicked. my point is u dont go to your friends house and tell his/her mom what to cook for dinner so, even though it's a video game, u still dont have a preordained right to dictate and break rules of someone elses race lobby. It's real simple, u dont agree with the lobby rules they set, leave and find or create a lobby uare comfy in.Its not a subject thats up for debate when it's not your lobby to begin with.

You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

As what Jar said, you can't use text-speak in your posts. You must instead use regular English.

And an acceptable solution to your predicament there is to join a GTP race series. Plenty of series on here that can keep you busy 👍

OP doesn't have a predicament. Wall-of-text I realize, but it's actually answering the question, not asking it. To paraphrase: "The game is perfect for me, if you get ever kicked it is only because you are being a disrespectful jackass, so stop and you'll never get kicked."

EDIT: ^^^ Wow, how long did that translation take?

Oh. Still, I think he'll enjoy being in a race series.

First of all: Read the AUP.

I've been kicked for various reasons: using the X2010/Veyron, because some guy didn't want his room to be taken over when he left, because I was winning, and because I didn't have a headset. I'm pretty sure there's more, just can't think of any.

Online is just a nut case that has rules written with invisible ink: can't use this, must do that, can't ever do this, must always do that - which is why I try to avoid the racing lobbies or any lobby that seems to be "hardcore" and just go for the free roam lobbies.

Wow, a great wall of text.

On topic, if you can't be bothered to use what you agreed to, neither can I replying to your OP..

A lot of people out there doesn't like to lose.

As an inversion of this case, lots of people leave the room when they are losing. Prety lame.

If was fun once when I was racing a bunch of nice guys/gals in SPA with hard rain, and a guy whose name was Senna came along, and started to complain that it was raining too hard, until one of the guys said: "Stop complaining. You're Senna, aren't you?". The guy left the room. We had a great laugh.

Can't even count how often I've had or been caught up in accidents early at the Ring only to have every single person I pass quit, usually before I even catch the next one. So I'll overtake six cars... and be in last the whole race.

The OP makes a good point even if it is written poorly, I have been racing with my friends before only to have some berk join the room and start telling me to change the settings.

Read that OP.

If you want a hint, you need to use paragraphs and lose the text speak

Wise people are wise...👍
Take heed of friendly advice from your peers and don't post in that unintelligible manner again. 👎
A quick review of your posting history suggests you've been fine up to now an this is a one-off, so it's being allowed to slide as you've already been told by 4 people why (not "Y") you (not "u") shouldn't do it again and if you go back to your regular posting style you'll be fine.

I still cannot see the incentive to start using online, and I don't see how PD can correct the biggest weakness with online racing. That is the humans involved.

Just watching my 10 year old playing, the time spent finding a lobby, and then getting a suitable car, to be met my some really poor racing.

I know really good racing must be out there somewhere - cause of all the people that love it, but what I've seen doesn't tempt me to invest any time in looking,

Your post came in 10 minutes after the third post. You had to have read the two post after the op's post. There is no need for you to correct him also.

I did. That's why I bolded Jar31Lar's username. I just shortened it to Jar.

Oh the irony.

The OP has it dead right. If you get kicked it is likely because you simply don't follow the rules. I particuarly like this comparison...
You don't go to your friends house and tell his/her mom what to cook for dinner so, even though it's a video game, you still don't have a preordained right to dictate and break rules of someone else's race lobby
very well intended post, but make sure you follow the AUP like the other guys said 👍

Having played online racing since June of last year, I can proudly say, I have only been kicked from a lobby online 3 times. I've never been kicked for disobeying or disrespecting the lobby, the host or the rules.

I run with a select group of racers now and probably wont be getting kicked anytime soon, these racers have helped me to up my game. I follow all rules, which is really easy and I don't try to dictate to the host how his room/lobby should be run.

However some GT5 players think this is their right. They complain about why they have to stay in the Pit area before the race starts and sometimes, have the nerve to complain about the cars they are allowed to run for that race. We usually play winner picks car, and go from there, but newer players to the lobby will just pick a car without realizing that. We try to explain it, and ask them to choose the right car or something equal, but this doesn't always work. The player will often try to dictate to the host what cars we should be running because he doesn't have that car, or its not set up, or he doesn't like that car because it's slow or something. Twenty seconds later, he is back in the main lobby wondering why he got kicked.

My point is, you don't go to your friends house and tell his/her mom what to cook for dinner so, even though it's a video game; you still don't have a preordained right to dictate and break rules of someone else's race lobby. It's really simple, if you don't agree with the lobby rules they set, leave and find or create a lobby you are comfortable in. Its not a subject that's up for debate when it's not your lobby to begin with.

Fixed 👍

EDIT: I forgot to mention, that in the room I spend most of my time, if someone from anywhere other then Australia or New Zealand joins they will be kicked. This is not a racism thing, but to reduce lag. So in future, if you see "AUS" in a room title and get kicked straight away, it's nothing personal, it's just to reduce lag.

I have one question regarding the whole proper grammer rule, How in the hell is lol proper grammer?

I get kicked frequently because I dont take crap

I was playing the other night on an ssrx server "breaking in cars" and the host was this dumb kid that was forcing people to use the cars he wanted. when he wanted everyone to use trucks, thats when i rebelled. I dont want to freaking drive a truck and i'm not going to let some dumb kid force me to. I was there to break in my aventador and essentially forced him to kick me.

Feels good man.

Well, with time you tend to add friends to your PSN account based on previous experiences.

But I agree that the open lobbies are somewhat a random experience.

There is only 1 place where I use online racing, and that is at work where we have 5 rigs networked together. On occasion I've had to kick someone out when setting up the room as we only want our systems in the room. Apart from that though its just network errors rather than kicks which disrupt most online sessions.

F1 2010 / 2011 is far worse in my opinion, I have never finished a race (even with 3 laps distance) with anyone else left in the room... When people are losing they quit straight away, or kick out anyone ahead of them.
