Why you get kicked from racing lobbies

Terrible OP, but the easiest way for a random to get kicked from my room is to start barking orders. "allow all cars" "start race" "well, you gonna?"
No, I am not gonna.

That annoys me to no end, "Up the PP!" "This room sucks" "Lets race on Racing Softs, Sports Tires are to hard to drive on" (This was in a 400 PP room) Demands demands demands.. It's like going to someone's house and telling them to paint their walls a different colour and put in more windows.. although not that drastic:p

For no reason, and most of the time it's because my country flag is Canada. I joined a game with Brits and they were upset because I was Canadian, I got kicked after tons of hate. Let's just say I don't play online anymore...

Does GTP have track days at the Nurburgring or anything? Because the rest of the games I join are all full of people using DS3s and Veyrons. I want to have a legitimate, fun, realistic track day... :indiff:

I find that hard to believe, (I do believe it though) cause every Canadian I've ever raced with on GT5 has been very courteous. A_Higher_Place and tezgm99 (Done testing for series with both) are both very good people and any Canadian I've ever raced with in a open lobby has never said anything bad about anyone.

Surprisingly I've never gotten a bad word from any Australian either, but maybe I should start joining Australian rooms to see what happens :sly:

I only get kicked from European rooms, mainly German and Portuguese. But cause of politics Europe don't like Ireland as much any more </3

Even the Japanese are very welcoming, before the new DLC was realised in europe I was racing in a Japanese Route X room and whipped out my X2011 to see how fast I can get it and I wasn't kicked. I even hit 372mph in the draft.

Usually for using an expensive car like the Ford MKIV or the 330 P4. But why would they hate on Canadians? They are typically the friendliest people I come across on multiplayer and many of them I actually talk to via email or Facebook.

What's with the first page? Grammar nazi invasion? Tell him once, not 100 times. I get kicked all the time. Mainly its when i join european parties who hate americans, second because i use bugatti or X1 although no one said i couldnt, or the host is an idiot or a sore loser.

I've actually never been kicked for being Canadian, I've been picked on sure, but dominating that race usually silences that. 👍

Cause I'm a white square peg in a black round world? LOL. Nope..

I got booted once the day after the first batch of DLC came out. I think the host was jealous, for what I don't know, it's like 10 bucks! I've been racing online since Gran Prix Legends. I think you just figure out along the way all the ''do's'' and ''dont's''.

One time I got kicked as soon as I entered a room. Messaged the host why he kicked me. He sent back: 'Because all GTP-guys are stupid *ssh*les' :dunce:

Joined a 500pp lobby today and took out my Mitsubishi fto, won the race against a sea of nsx and m3s, I drove a clean race and won fair and square only to be kicked straight after the race finished! Sent the host a message saying how pathetic that just made him look and to practice more because he was **** slow

Some people think GTP-tagged people will do anything to win, but I'm pretty sure it's not true at all.

Can't even count how often I've had or been caught up in accidents early at the Ring only to have every single person I pass quit, usually before I even catch the next one. So I'll overtake six cars... and be in last the whole race.

This.
How many times... Just because I pass your C63 AMG in my Mazda Atenza, doesn't mean you need to quit! :sly:

I don't like seeing people quit when they have spun out and get overtaken. I think you should be forced to finish the race otherwise you lose credits/xp. So many times I have spun or been forced off the road only to catch the pack and still finish in a respectable position, sometimes even going on to win the race.

You have to lose to win, and that learning curve is what it's all about. if 12 start - 12 should finish. (Unless the missus comes home with shopping and is yelling at you to help out).

What if you're lagging and have to quit? Never happened to me, juat an example, but should you lose cr. for that? How could game ever tell difference?

I joined an all-American drag racing room a few nights ago. It only took 10 seconds for me to be kicked out. 👎

Then again, I joined an all UK room, anyone without the Union Flag beside their name got kicked out. Aussies were excempt of this rule, of course.

They also don't seem to realize that much of the reason we're passing them is because we keep finishing our laps. I love how often you hear the same people complaining about how they just can't seem to figure out the last half of the lap.

No because some people leave and could hang up a race for a while before they get booted out.

I usually get kicked for suggesting what the host should set the PP rating to or telling them to use shuffle ratio 0 or limit driving aids. I want to race the driver not his car. I love spec racing, limited to the same exact car. That is real racing.

Racing Lobbies that have driving aids already turned off tend to indicate a room of very good drivers. I cant personally say I participate in alot of AutoCross style races basically because the first turn usually leads to a pile up of cars all trying to be first.

Setup is important and these rooms have guys and gals that know there cars well because of the Practice they put into refining their tune. I dont think they should have to step down a level because an unpolished racer just has to participate in races in their lounge.

The new visitor of the lobby can quickly scan the lobbies rules or restrictions to see if the Racing Lobby is a good fit for them. Entering a room with a Mics a must requirement and you dont have a mic is a bad move on the visitor, however communicate with the host through text, if the room does not say that in the Lobby Search AutoMessage.

Seems alot of the things people are going through are preventable. This threads begining may have been rough, however im glad I started it to clear the air.

The RedBull is a no no it will get you kicked every time from a good room with a worthy Host. Thats the kind of host you want in my book because he/she wants to enjoy a quality controlled race for their self and the other visitors.

This is my point. Its not the Host duty to shape his lobby around one visitors driving style, and your style of racing does not mean Host has any less passion for Racing.
