I second that, but I can't think what other racer has LeMans and a 787b.

There was that other thread "Le Mans 'nearly' confirmed" also...

I realise that there was talk of possibly 3 configurations of 'Le Mans'...

As they've called it De La Sarthe, I think we can safely say it's the 14km circuit and not the Bugatti Circuit (which holds the Superbike races...)

Personally I hope that it's the pre-1990 config, with the uninterrupted 3 mile Mulsanne...
i hear 'dat. personally i would like:

1) Pre-1990 course (as hellnback just mentioned)
2) Present day course (2004 track, with the curves between dunlop bridge and the esses)
3) Bugatti circuit

now who agrees with those layouts, huh?? :sly: 👍

They wouldn't be hard to do either, since most of Bugatti is modelled in the LaSarth circuit anyway and the pre 90 circuit and current one will both be modelled whichever you race on.

I third that... if that screenshot is GT4 then my name is Johann Gambolputty de von Ausfern- schplenden- schlitter- crasscrenbon- fried- digger- dingle- dangle- dongle- dungle- burstein- von- knacker- thrasher- apple- banger- horowitz- ticolensic- grander- knotty- spelltinkle- grandlich- grumblemeyer- spelterwasser- kurstlich- himbleeisen- bahnwagen- gutenabend- bitte- ein- nürnburger- bratwustle- gerspurten- mitz- weimache- luber- hundsfut- gumberaber- shönedanker- kalbsfleisch- mittler- aucher von Hautkopft of Ulm

As for the 787B, you only have to look at the plethora of new games (including Forza) that are blatant clones of GT4, with everything from the Calsonic Skyline to the Initial D Sprinter Trueno....

Shame though, coz a real pic of Le Mans in GT4 would be cool, but alas, I haven't seen a single one yet...

My point is, whether or not it's GT4, that isn't LeMans. The countryside around Le Mans is very flat, no hills.

It is Le Mans... just remember these tracks aren't made by professionals. ;) That thing is a simple 2D bitmap to flesh out the background.

done some laps there yeah.. but that's not how it would look in gt4.. I'm quite curious about the design included... with chicanes or without...? I'd say both...

quit discussing that stupid screenshot, wait until something from ags comes out..

sinner from GT4 @ AGS Hong Kong thread
If I remember correctly, I THINK there were two variations of the Circuit De La Sarthe... as for the DeLorean... its the classic one... Back To The Future...

As has been already mentioned, the Superbikes race on the Bugatti version of the circuit, thus if this holds true, we may very well see a current and pre-1990 config of the Le Mans track (La Sarthe).

All we need now is some pictures or a screenshot of it... then we await GT4 and all those glorious LM's to race on it...

I realy hope that Le Mans will be innit because i have been there last year. and its a beatifaule circuit Les 24 heures du mans : its the most beautifull race there ever will be i think. (sorry for the bad engilsh, i'm from belgium )

so much for the course list.

So many slight variations, doesnt really add much does it.

That final list, if it is final is quite dissapointing.

and will they really all be able to be driven in reverse????

Edit:

The Totals on that track list, dont quite tally up with the recent demo screens. can anyone work out the list.

There should be 11 city courses, there are 12 on the list.
There should be 19 real circuits, there are 18 on the list
There should be 7 dirt and snow tracks, all accounted for.
There should be 13 original courses, there are 10 on the list.

Circuit de La Sarthe,
Automobile Club de L'Ouest,
Cedex 19,
Les Raineries 72040,
Le Mans

p.s. The359 - I hope the '1' is for a version - there was talk about a few ages of the Le Mans tracks (without chicane for example - nice!!)

Probably no for : "World Circuits", "Driving Park", "Power & Speed" and some of the "City Courses" (Cote d'Azur for example).

I'm just curious if it means different eras or if they mean LeMans and the Bugatti circuit.

Thats what i thought too, they were just so keen to emphasize that all could be driven in reverse.

This site never seems to have rock solid new info.

I hope they do the attached! I think a french magazine mentioned (3?) different versions (era's?) of the track. Can't remember where I saw it though!

dont worry..this is probably not the final list of tracks

Why? all the variations are on that list so there could be more.
