Hey guys,

Most people were disapointed when they knew that there was a trade-limit of 1mil CR. So do you think that there will be a trade-limit of 1mil CR, no trade-limit or a higher CR trade-limit.

I myself think that it won't have a trade-limit. Everyone want's to trade those high valuable cars for other high valua cars that you still need.

Cheers!

Don't know, will there be a 20 million cap too?

No one knows these details yet.

There shouldn't even be a gifting system like GT5's at all; nor should any of that crap have been saddled on GT5 months after it released in the first place. Send whatever you want whenever you want however many times you want.

Doesn't mean that's how it will be.

I like the trade limit. It encourages people to work for things.

I wouldn't be disappointed if it was back.

I consider you a casual acquaintance, so I'll be nicer than I usually am when people say silly things in the GT6 forum.

Your opinion is butt. This many butts:

You on the funny juice?, lol.

I don't see what's wrong with having people work for things. Keeps them playing longer after all.

Should have been like that. We can only hope for the best.

If you are searching for a car that's hard to get or you need a second variant of the car you have, fastest way would be tradeing it. But I do understand you'r point to.

Actually your comment seems to be sillier than his one, at least in my eyes of course.

Explain yourself this instant.

Well, it's quite simple. Logic is similar to mathematics. And when you add the numbers together (or in this case, your opinion added to the truth), you get this:

And that just explains everything, really. Trade limits are dumb, because they just force people to grind B-Spec.

Don't be an Oboe Shoe, Danny.

I've always found the "work for your cars" crowd to be pretty annoying. Why should you have to work for your cars? This isn't real life, it's a game, for the inent of recreation. I don't know about you, but when I get home from work, I don't want to work some more. The idea of forcing people to work for stuff in a game like granturismo when they could easily share seems ridiculous to me, what possible motivation is there to that reasoning, it builds character? Especially with the way a-spec is designed, you shouldn't have to do the same race over and over and over to unlock the next or have enough money to drive the next challenge, it's nice to be able to borrow that car from a friend.

I don't know, it doesn't seem like very hard work. I bought the Race Car pack DLC when I first started (those are some good cars) then some time after that I figured out you could level up fast on the seasonal events and with the piles of money you get from those the repitition doesn't seem so bad. well it does get old when your trying to get all the 20,000,000cr cars at once though, I'll admit that.

Never said you couldn't borrow a car. Go ahead. But to own one I don't see the reasoning in being permitted to just acquire it instantly. No fun in that. /imo

That's the problem with GT5. It overdoes it.

Instead of putting real effort into the single player and designing it in a way that makes it enjoyable and makes sense, instead we get a short A-spec/B-spec with silly level restrictions to keep people from doing certain events/driving certain cars and a mess of a UCD to artificially lengthen the game.

 What the heck? Was that suppose to make sense?

Of course though, I really hope their isn't a CR limit.

EDIT: I also don't think the trade should be limited in any way. Trading back in the first days of GT5 helped me collect cars that I couldn't find through the UCD since a friend of mine probably had it and I could easily trade a car I had that was of equal value to the car he/she had. It helped collecting become a bit more convenient.

Nope, cut my play time down considerably.

Your opinion means nothing in my game. Mine means nothing in yours.

I, fail to understand why the system from gt5 was concocted. I thoroughly hate how limiting it is.

1 car can be traded per every 24 hours, solong as it value is less than 1 million cr. Total bulls:lol:t!

That effectively means the only good cars you can trade are ones that suck. If the limit was upped to 3 million cr., then more efficient trades can happen. Even so, it's still too low, but it doesn't yell go 🤬 yourself quite as loudly.

The trade limit just seems pointless to me. I get that PD is trying to force people to work to unlock content, and if we were talking about, say GT1-GT4, I might agree. But the fact is, you really don't have to work for anything you earn in GT5. Seasonal events make getting truckloads of cash incredibly easy, the competition in A-spec races is laughably inept, and for most of the offline events you can use the most overpowered vehicles in your garage because there's no horsepower or PP limit. So keeping a trade limit against all of that is rather...contradictory

I didn't say that. I said they meant nothing in each others games. In other words, the fact that you find not working for cars boring should not impact my game at all. It should only impact yours.

Basically, the only preferences that should affect someone as they play are that person's preferences. Maybe instead of game, you could use playthrough, or experience.

Some people like unlocking cars, but that's not a reason to make unlocking cars mandatory. The opposite it also true. I'd like to see it made optional, or at the very least, have PD leave out annoyances like the trade limits to try and force people to play a different way.

As I said before, having to get money for cars didn't extend my play time at all. It made me more likely to put down the game and it reduced the time I could spend doing enjoyable things like tuning, free run, setting up or participating in leagues, etc. I don't see any benefit that came about from the limit.
