Will too many locks get me banned?

In the past 5 or 6 weeks I got like 10 locks and I'm worried about it.

It doesn't work that way.

You'll only get points for having locked threads if it comes to a point where it's just spam.

If the threads keep getting locked because they are duplicates of other threads, then try using the search bar.

Repeated dupes will probably get you a warning, keep doing it and you'll get points.


If it's because you created a legit thread, and people are just being knobs and it gets shut down because of that, then that's not your fault and you won't get points for it.

Wrong section
Useless thread
Full of spam
Requested

10 locks in 1.5 months? Kind of a worrying number of threads you've been making then.

There is no cause-effect relationship between the number of threads made, the number of threads locked and bans.
