Will VRR come to GT7 in a future ?

Should GT7 get VRR support ?

I imagine that due to the simplicity of that track it got less optimisation passes. But this is very much a couch dev guess and could be miles off.
 
Is anyone else having major framerate issues on High Speed Ring?
I’ve used free fps analysis tool (trdrop) and it goes below 48 (which is a vrr floor on ps5) in multiple corners and often drops below 60 if you are racing against gr.4 cars (vrr would fix this).

I don’t have a clue why this is happening as that track does not look impressive at all. Have not had issues like this on other tracks.
VRR does not solve frame rate issues. It just makes them less noticeable. The game would still drop frames.

Yes, but it does help a lot. If I am playing the game with vrr and fps is in the 55-60 range, I notice that it is not locked, but it is still playable.

This Gr.4 cup race is really awful not because of big frame drops (I see them, but they don’t last long). It is awful as I just cannot take 5 laps of 55-60fps with v-sync. It almost made me sick, which only happens in vr or when fov is really narrow.

I am sure that PD will patch vrr support, I just don’t get why this simple track has bad performance.
