I wonder if we will get a cheeky Christmas update like last year.. We got the Mazda VGT on Christmas day at like 4:00am UK time last year.

If you remember, GT5's servers didn't go down until a while after the release of GT6, so I'd wager that GT6's online functions will last a bit longer than that.

But did they ? GT5 servers closed 5 months, 15 days after GT6 launch. The reason was to force people to buy GT6.

Now the reason is to convince them to get PS4/GTS bundle which to me looks like an even bigger deal.

Given that I fully expect the servers to be down around 6 months or sooner after GTS release.

I said June but that was assuming "early 2016" would be mid January.

Anyway - GTS launch + 6 months = adios GT6 online. (in my opinion) Will see.

GT5's servers after 3 and a half years were almost certainly more trafficked at the time than GT6's likely will be another year and a half from now.
