Its Wimbledon fortnight once again with the tournament starting on Monday, the seeding's were announced earlier with the draw tomorrow, discuss it all here. :)

Haven't watched that many preliminary or first round draws this year due to time so the first week may be a bit hit and miss for me, but Djokovic is playing better than ever before. I hope Murray can pull something out of the bag but I can't see anyone beating Novak. Muguruza has really come of age this year too and perhaps a second major for her this year looks likely.

Wimbledon draw was earlier this morning, here are some of the ties

Gentleman's singles

Djokovic (1) v J Ward
L Broady v Murray (2)
Federer (3) v G Pella
Fitz v Wawrinka (4)
Groth v Nishikori (5)
Carenno-Busta v Raonic (6)
Gasquet (7) v Bedene
Thiem (8) v Mayer
Cilic (9) v Baker
Dogic v Berdych (10)

Edmund v Mannarino

Womens's Singles

Williams (1) v Qualifier
Giorgi v Muguruza (2)
Radwanska (3) v Kozlova
Robson v Kerber (4)
Halep (5) v Schmiedlova
Riske v Vinci (6)
Pironkova v Bencic (7)
Williams (8) v Vekic
Siegemund v Keys (9)
Kvitova (10) v Cirstea

Puig v Konta (16)
Swan v Babos
Moore v Van Utyvanck
Watson v Beck

Murray will not face Djokovic until the final (if they both get there), he has Wawrinka, Federer and Nishikori on his side of the draw and faces fellow Brit Liam Broady in the first round, a lot of the British players have very tough first round games.

So just now then, British qualifier and world number 775 Marcus Willis just won his first debut match at Wimbledon beating Berankis 6-3 6-3 6-4!

Elsewhere Jamie Ward put up a fight against Djokovic but ultimately lost 6-0 7-6 6-4, there were alsowins for Nishikori, Cilic, Raonic and Venus Williams, Andy Murray on Centre Court tomorrow...

Djokovic wins his second round match against Mannarino 6-3 6-4 7-6, Marcus Willis plays next against some guy called Roger Federer....

Willis is good, has looked the more likely to break in the third set. I think he can build from this.

Edit: Jinxed it, Federer just broke.:ouch::lol:

I have been impressed with him, he has got better as the match has gone on, also his missus is

So todays news then, Andy Murray through to the third round after a 6-3 6-2 6-1 win over Yen-Hsun Lu, wasn't all plain sailing though as he was 3-1 down in the first set, but he recovered and won comfortably, elsewhere the shock of the tournament so far has happened as Ladies 2nd seed and last years runner up Muguruza was knocked out buy the World number 124 and qualifier Jana Cepelove 6-3 6-2!

Also Britain's Dan Evans gets himself a third round match against Federer after beating 30th seed Dolgopolov in straight sets, wins for Dimitrov, Nishikori, Cilic, Goffin, Halep and Kerber, Jo Konta on court now in her second round match v Bouchard and Watson was knocked out.

The 1st Round of the Mens' Doubles was shortened to best of 3 sets after some early rain delays during the tournament.
There is currently no plan to play a "People's Sunday" instead of the rest day, which has happened 3 times before.

The big game of the day was two former Grand Slam winners Del Potro v Wawrinka with Del Potro knocking out the number 4 seed 3-6 6-3 7-6 6-3, Berdych had a very comfortable time against Ben Becker winning in straight set, All games currently suspended because of the weather, Serena Williams resumes here match against McHale on Centre shortly once the roof is closed.

It was on the radio earlier that they are now considering having play on Sunday to clear the backlog...

The men's doubles have been shortened to best of 3 sets for round 1 so they must be miles behind schedule. I'd say middle Sunday will be players and/or a Monday final.

There will be play on Sunday, Djokovic's match with Querrey was suspended due to rain with the World number one 7-6 6-1 down and needing three sets to win when play resumes, both Williams sisters went through earlier but had to dig deep to win both matches in three sets.

They will announce the schedule for Sunday's play at lunchtime tomorrow.

Djokovic has just been knocked out by Sam Querry in four sets!

Andy Murray on court now...

Kyrgios beats Lopez in four sets to meet Murray next and Pouille has knocked Del Potro out...

So Murray beat Kyrgios in straight sets earlier then, 7-5 6-1 6-4, tight opening set but then Kyrgios seemed to lose his way, Its Tsonga up next for Murray after Gasquet retired hurt in their match when it was 4-2 in the first set.

Elsewhere there were wins for Federer, Cilic, both Williams, Cibulkova, Pavlyuchenkova and Raonic.

Just had a fantastic day of Tennis with the Men's quarter finals, both Murray and Federer had five-set classics and went through, Federer was two sets down to Cillic but made an extraordinary fightback and will now play Raonic in the Semis after he beat Querry in four sets.

And then Murray v Tsonga, the first set was pretty epic, lasted over an hour and went to a tie break which Murray eventually won, he also won the next at a canter 6-1, Tsonga won the next two but then Murray won the deciding very comfortably 6-1, he plays Berdych next after he had a comfortable win beating Pouille in straight sets.

Andy Murray has just beat Tomas Berdych in straight sets in their semi final to make it to a Wimbledon final where he will play Milos Raonic after he beat Federer in five sets

Serena Williams plays Angelique Kerber in the Ladies final tomorrow...

Andy Murray has just won Wimbledon for the second time, beating Milos Raonic in straight sets 4-6 6-7 6-7!!!
