im going to buy a wireless racing wheel and wondered if this was a good one and if it worked for gran turismo 6 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0090C0AG8/?tag=gtplanetuk-20 , thanks
That is a very cheap wheel I would leave it and save for a lot better wheel.im going to buy a wireless racing wheel and wondered if this was a good one and if it worked for gran turismo 6 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gioteck-FR1-Wireless-Racing-Wheel/dp/B0090C0AG8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1388867026&sr=8-2&keywords=racing wheel , thanks
Sorry wrong post.I've had that wheel, it was faulty so went back, but while it was working, I found it sluggish to respond, DS3 is much quicker. Just off centre, there is a 'dead' zone so you had to turn the wheel more than expected to just 'tweak' the car through the racing line.
A friend has one, and swaps between the wheel and the DS3 depending on what he's doing, but he admits DS3 is better in some of the race/tests in GT6.
I got a refund for my faulty wheel, and I don't miss it one bit to be honest.
I will go for DS3 rather than a Gioteck FR1 Wireless Racing Wheel any day.The reviews say it's ok. Of course you can't compare to a proper wheel, but may be fine for casual racing, better than a controller, and it should work with games not supporting the wheels (anyone can confirm?). For the price, I am very tempted to buy it
