The game is so authentic to the Bond mythos that it joins the ranks of Alien: Isolation, RoboCop: Rogue City, and Indiana Jones And The Great Circle as near perfect interactive recreations of their respective franchises. And, like them, it may end up being better than many of the actual movies.
This came as a surprise to us, in our recent playtest of the game, as while we’d been impressed by what we’d seen before, in hands-off previews, we were worried as to whether Hitman developer IO Interactive had the necessary gaming experience, or affinity for the Bond franchise, to make it work. After playing the game for over three hours those concerns have now been firmly extinguished.
The airfield level running on base 5 at pretty much locked 60fps. There were major framerate drops when they first showed it, so this is nice to see.
Yeah it was a wee bit floaty. Haven't got far enough yet to try the other vehicles. It's fun so far but yikes the car handling is not good imo
I know this is not a driving game but I expected a 2006 DBS to handle like a sports car not an SUV.
Slower than probably expected from the trailers, especially the first few hours. Much less shooting, more stealth/investigation and an extended training section. Very much a Hitman follow-up rather than a new Uncharted. I really like it so far but it won't be to everyone's taste. How is the gameplay loop.It looks good and I am thinking of adding it to the list of games to buy
That sounds good I am a huge Bond fan and I think a more Hitman than Uncharted is cool by me. I totally agree with you about Gibson he would make a great Bond. He gives me Pierce Brosnan vibes.Slower than probably expected from the trailers, especially the first few hours. Much less shooting, more stealth/investigation and an extended training section. Gibson is very very good as a young cocky Bond. Honestly if the movie folk are really doing another soft reboot he should be in the frame.
