Whiskey had to much of his name !!
This is ment to be a clean series and giving someone room and respect their Car and line is almost the IMPORTANT Guideline.
Watch what he did to me before I left. Well my rampage after that at Last turn wasn´t better but I did what I did and can´t repair it. At least he couldn´t interrupt the other clean racers.

=> I take every penalty like a man.

Race 1 though was great. Although I couldn´t stay behind Lancer and cnd even with perfect draft everything was fine.
Tire wear isn´t an effect for the FWD´s due to the low lenght of them races.
Both where doing low 30´s high 29´s (??) and I could do mid/high 30´s on my own and had a low 30 with permanent draft.
When I do a little mistake they where gone with the wind => 4 seconds after 8 laps.

The first 3 or so laps where I had to defend where great but I got passed really easy.
But at the start the Golf is perfect :D

Yeah, reading the last few pages helps.

Lancer's Renault lost 10 hp, and cnd got 10 kg. ballast.

Sakery, I can't give you points for race 2 because you left, so you're 8 points behind whiskymaser, who starts last (penalty.)

I don´t care for the points. I knew when I left what will happen so...
Btw: I read the last pages, I only wanted to announce the situation 👍

You said cnd gained 20.

Which one was a typo? Your original post and the spec sheet both say 20.

This means I gain 20 horsepower 💡

Can it, you're the fastest in the series, both to be banned from ToCA and to finish a lap in ITCC.

Polar's right, Cnd's gotta add a full 20 kg. The one time I didn't check my message before posting... And I get a 1 and a 2 mixed up.

You get your number 1's and number 2's mixed up :boggled: I really wouldn't want to share a car with you in an endurance race

I hope by #1's & #2's, you don't mean what you do on the toilet. If you do, I take it you never saw Beavis & Butt-Head.

Not those two, no. Just the keyboards. I promise. We can still win Bathurst together. Supposing you don't flip... Or find another way to kill me in Turn 1 again. :grumpy: I'm still straightening my neck from the whiplash.

He does. He's a bit weird.

And, announcing: I'm fixing the OP

In that case, #1, I order you to go take a #2.

I don't know where you're going with that, but it seems strange. Turns out, my body and I think alike:
"I wonder why people care when I schedule a break from what I'm doing."
is one thought. The other is
"I can't get in trouble for going to the washroom while I'm at work. As long as my work gets done; which it does, my boss and supervisor don't care how many trips I make."

In short: I just got off work, have no need of a washroom at the moment, and don't really understand why you're mentioning this. Aren't we here to race, and not discuss stuff that belongs on a different forum? :dopey:

Anyways, last season's races at Suzuka East went pretty smoothly. Just, please, for the love of god, be careful in Turn 1. Everyone will have a drastically different braking point. You'd best brake before the car in front. And, yes, Riley, you have to brake.

This, however, brings me to my main point for the night: Daytona grid. Please notice that Daytona Motor Speedway doesn't have a grid, marked on the course. As a result, we will grid before the banking coming out of NASCAR Turn 3, before the banking at the tri-oval.

In U.K. English: don't park on a slanted road, please. Park near pit-in.

"Green Specialty Vehicle Parking Area" will be the basic grid area, just past the T4 Tunnel.

I'm sure everyone can remember the basic setup for grid starts: 1st place driver will go on the inside, 2 meters back second place, next row is the same thing, but it's 4 meters back...

It will look like that, but, on the flat-part of the track near "Green Specialty Vehicle Parking Area."

So, for Daytona, the grid is gonna be a long way back from the start finish line? That may work, but I suspect the initial roll-off is gonna be in the tri-oval itself.
Yeah, I think we know how chaotic Suzuka's first turn can be. Just look at the start of this past year's Japanese Grand Prix.
Also, the #2 bit in a previous post reminded me of a TV ad from several years ago for something called The Best Of Beavis and Butt-Head, and the quote mentioned earlier was an actual line in the ad. I still remember much of the cut-scene lines from there. Ask me in private if you want more lines.

That map is obviously incorrect. That is a map used for the Daytona 500/Coke 400. There is no parking in the west horshoe because if a car drove off in the kink, it would hit an R.V. Also, the area right next to the back stretch grand stands is called the "Budweiser Party Porch". I spend a good portion of the night watching the cars brake into the bus stop this year. Believe me, they mess up about as often as we do there :p

I am quite excited for this Saturday! Shall I get a list of participants? I think so!
