Which points system should we use?

  • 1: 40 per race, 20 pole position, 0 points second in qualifying

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • 2: 40 per race, 20 pole position, everyone else gets 2 points less per position

    Votes: 1 10.0%

  • 3: 40 per race, 2 pole position, everyone else gets 0 points

I honestly don't see the point of lists when all it does is spam up the threads and half the people on the list don't show up anyhow.

I hope so yes ;) Hopefully the BMW will be strong at suzuka because there are many corners where it has advantages. But on highspeed courses it will be very very hard :P
 
Since I'm sick as a dog, I might make it tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I will actually as I don't want to hang out with my friends if I know all that I'll do is get them sick too. I won't be 100%, but I will be there.
 
I would like to say something before we race tomorrow.

Suzuka East is going to be a tough track for overtaking. The only real place you can safely pass is turn one, and sometimes that even ends badly, as I will demonstrate:



That said, if someone makes a mistake in the esses and you can safely pass, go right ahead. But please don't be sticking your nose up the rear end of the car in front of you all the time. It slows both of you down in the end, even if you both manage to stay on the track.

Looking at these old Capp Cup videos, here's one a few of you guys could use:

I understand there's going to be some bumping, it's A. Touring Cars, and B. a WMA series. I was talking more the divebombing part.
 
It is easy to pass in the last turn as well if the other person gives room. We will see how it plays out.

Edit: In the second vid you posted Lancer, I don't really agree with the bad passing. I consider a dive bomb an overtake move that results in contact before the apex. In that vid, the contact happens well into the corner. The driver that's being passed should have some respect for the car on the inside.

Don't worry Lancer. I've kept the Season I rulebook. If need be, I'll remind everyone of the "0 tolerance for divebombing" rule.

So far, though, this season's only seen one divebomb... When I got mad loose and gave braun a little tap. I think I apologized.
 
I'd have to say the last 2 turns and turn 1 are my favourite places to overtake, if your feeling brave, like me, if awareness is taken into account you can pass down the outside of all 3 turn's,

Won't be long. I just have to convert the video files into .wmv (for WMV, not surprisingly,) and it'll be good to go.

Hoping too, depending on how long I stay at work, and I have the 4 hour Nurb 24 practice sometime later tonight, in which I will most likely be going to Heathenpride's house to run it as 2 driver's, I know I won't be able to attend next week due to the 24 hour, hopefully can attend every event from then on,

also planning on using a Honda Civic EP '04, or maybe a surprise entry,
