Nice one canu. Very good advice!

I have also noticed that Scale has been driving very clean and crafty in the first few laps. Nice one Scale!:)

Well said Canu. Didnt know you could type for so long....lol

Thats what the reverse grid is all about. Although the first few races, we have seen the same guys at the top, the reverse grid is there to mix it up.

I agree with the slower guys holding their line and letting the faster guys work for the move. Petrol is a master at that. When I see him coming up I already brace myself for a good challenge.

Hold your line guys.....try keep the faster guys behind for as long as possible, within reason and the spirit of racing.

Oh and if you see a red car, do what ever it takes.....lol

Yup.... and I typed it all with my left thumb, saving my right thumb for the brake button on Sunday ;)

Well it looks like myself and Scale are teammates then....... we'll just tag team your ass haha ha

Homes,

I backed out of the sprint race when Bubble claimed I was racing dirty, but he wasn't on my screen, on my map, or on my drivers list. I left the main race for the same reason.

I just want to be clear, the only reason I claimed you were racing dirty was because I didn't yet know you couldn't see me. Just want that to be clear so I know that you know I know you're a good clean driver.

to settle the donating the point issue
i have this to say
when searching the internet i found this really good charity called
"donate all your championship points from wolla wolla ding dong 5.0l +supercar mashup"
the charity helps drivers whos ps3s have broke and are missing there races
please note all points donated should be made out to willfred_1

That sounds great. I will tell some friends.

*Flies to South Africa and finds where homes lives*

"Hey, so I heard of this great new charity..."

:)

I read your long post canu and i agree with you, the slower drivers, (not that you are slow :) ), can stay on thier racing line and defend etc.., trying to move out the way cause accidents and is alot more fun for me to try and overtake you, cos sometimes we end up having a good scrap :)

Just so we're all clear on what happen (twice). I was not moving out of the way to let anyone by. It was in the opening laps and the car behind me braked too late. You could say that I braked a little early but I do have the right to the position I'm in. From my prospective it seems like impatience. It feels like people are shoving their way to the front. And with damage turned off, you can do that. What I was trying to say is that I will let cars past when its possible to do so in a safe manner. I made a career out of being lapped in DTM, I know how to let someone by cleanly. I know I'm American but I've been watching F1, GP2, DTM, BTCC, WRC for 20 years. I get it. If one of the front runners gets by me, I'm not going to be the jerk holding up the guy chasing him. Give me a couple corners and you can continue the chase. By no means do I want to give up my position but at the same time I'm slower than you guys. No doubt about it. I will do my best to do what you guys are asking but you have to hear what I'm saying as well.

yer i hear what your saying sassa, you do have right of way if your in front obviously and i think the faster guys should brake earlier, i admit i am quilty to the crime aswell, proberly from wacthing to much touring cars :D.

So when is the next practice session?? need a set up havent tested at all this week

I need a practice too. I would have practiced but it's been 65-75°f all week when its normally half that this time of year, so I've been doing less gaming this week. Actually, I hate to say it but I may not race this weekend, it's supposed to be really warm this weekend and I don't want to waste good weather.

Aha..... Scale is in the house, nice one buddy! I might get a chance to practice tonight a little..... maybe lol.
Sassa I hear you and I'm willing to try damage on , to be honest I've never tried it do I can't comment. I wasn't specifically commenting on your situation at Monza, I was just saying that because the braking area is so tough already and some guys brake alot later than others, we all need to make an effort to brake in a straight line and not to change direction while in the braking area. That would make things easier :) But like I said Monza does kinda exaggerate everything because of the high speeds and the tiniest taps cause massive accidents, especially if you get a wheel on the grass in the braking zone.
Let's see how things go on the other tracks, but I seriously don't mind trying damage and will be mindful of my aggressiveness :)
Scale is the original GT5 MASTER and I wouldn't be suprised by a 1:04...... but this old dog is learning some new tricks haha ha ;)

Like icing my hands before the race so the arthritis doesn't stop my fingers from working by lap 12 of the feature race haha ha

Welcome Scale.

Finally a little chit chat with the master.

Guys....I will be online a lot leading up to Sunday, I am off the pace and need set up time.

Ok Guys,

This is an invite to all Wolla drivers.

Tonight at 21:00 (SA Time, same as start time for Sundays) I will host a practice room.

All drivers are invited to work on set up and get a feel for the pace.

We will run a couple of 8 lap sprints to work on tire wear as well.

See you then

Hey Scale. welcome:)

I'm up for practice tonight (if you guys are practicing tonight? 19h00 GMT).

With regard to the overtaking. I don't want want to add any more to the ins and outs of it as I think you guys have covered it well but remember that there is a penalty system and I will review an incident if you want but you have to report it to me with a PM on here or a message on PSN. We are all big boys (except scale lol), so I'm sure we can take it on the chin if we deserve a warning or penalty.

BTW - When is your birthday again scale?

Some Say: He doesn't have a Birthday, he allows it.

Some Say: He is so fast, that his Birthday cant catch him.

All we know is.......He's callled "The Scale".

don't let scale near a wheel or it pointless racing
homes do machines have b'days ?
