Have you never heard this nursery rhyme before?
“Rock a bye baby on the tree top,
When the wind blows the cradle will rock,
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.”
 
This is why playing Quordle helps, since today's word has appeared a couple of times in Quordle before.

Quordle is also quite cool insomuch as it shows you if a word is not accepted before you click, as the letters turn red to indicate that your guess isn't in the word list, whereas Wordle doesn't. I assume Quordle has the same word list as Wordle, though it is possibly different.

That said, today's Quordle was ridiculously hard.
