I didn't know that my 3rd and 4th attempts were words. It always takes me too long to spot a double letter.

Then I suppose they weren't SONIC and TONIC. What were they? I can only think of CONIC, which I suspect @Touring Mars got.

One elimination word? How about two elimination words? My issues were taking so long to get the Eplaced and then dismissing that it had a Uin it. I kept trying to force the O or I in which lead to the elimination word on guess 4.
 
Tough Quordle today, and after the 1st word took 6 tries, I had to get the rest in 3 turns with very little to go on..
