Yeah, that. I use AUDIT as my first word so that gave me the added bonus of the T. So QU__T with an A in there could really only be QUARTYeh, I've only come across it in the US before.
As for getting it in two, it was practically a gimme for anyone using AUDIO or similar. My logic after the 1st guess was:
U in position 2 means QU--- is a good guess, but with another vowel already confirmed, E was unlikely to be there too, and QUA-- was an obvious starting point for guess 2. Then it was a question of my most common consonants, R,S and T, and QUART was the first thing that sprung to mind.
