i hate some phrases that people say.. for instance...
"Can I ask you a question?"- uh... well, now do I really have a choice?

and

"Needless to say"- Okay, then why are you saying it? shut up..

who thought of this one???

"There's more than one way to skin a cat!"- What sicko would want to skin a cat in the first place?

I hate the word "error" when it appears to me in a small box on my screen with a "!" after it followed by a bunch of jibberish.

--Wicked
--Doug
--Irregardless
--Nuh uh
--Uh huh
--Wasup?
--put to sleep
--When Walmart employees are called associates. They're freaking pimple-faced kids working, they aren't associates.

The words that are blocked by the filter here, the word pencil (long story; I mean really really really long...), and toenail. Those are the words that annoy me... (my name might fit in that category too, as I hear it almost 24/7...)

Killer- as in " Wow that was a Killer game"

And I have to mention when people ask questions in the past tense for no apparent reason. For instance, instead of asking "would you like water?" they will say, "did you want water?"

That brings up another thing I hate.
I hate when you're at a restaurant and you order something that comes to like $5 and then when you get your check, you give the waiter/waitress the check back with a $20 bill and they ask you "Did you want change?" Do they really think I'm going to give them a $15 tip or are they just to stupid to count? :odd:

I hate that... someday I should just say "No".

I don't necessarily hate any words (except for the already-mentioned AIM/1337 nonsense), but there are some words that annoy or amuse me spelling-wise... Such as bologna. (Ba-low-gna?) And I can never remember how to spell receive.

In general, I hate the phrase "Turkey Gobble Gobble!" I hear it every day at school. It's getting to be very tiresome. It was funny at first, but when you hear it 900 times a day you get tired of it.

lotsa words in urdu that just sound like gibberish/baby talk and just plain annoy me.
pou-pou = aunt
cha-cha = uncle
saagh = spinach
chummach = spoon

it's one helluva weird language...i still can't speak it...i can understand every word, but the words won't come out of my mouth.

english words:
Microsoft - i absolutely hate the word, and it as well as everything put to making it can burn in hell :p
**** - people that call everything ****...i hate them...food isn't **** ppl...unless that's what u prefer
*Zor - peoplezor thatzor putzor t "zor" atzor the end of every few wordszor....KILL THEM!!
l33t - nuf said

plz, lol, lmao, rofl.

First of all as you know, plz means please. And that word is usually used when someone asks someone for help. For example, one might ask "Plz help me, I can't find [insert word]." Using "plz" in the sentence is first of all lazy, and secondly insulting to the one who it is addressed to. It is insulting because the one asking doesn't respect you enough to form proper words when talking to you.

lol, lmao and rofl.Everyone propably knows what these mean. I can tolerate them, but I would never use them myself. For me, using them would mean the final victory of internet lingo over proper grammar.

i hate the phrase

"Dam Straight"
i mean who the **** thought of that

I have recently grown to hate/abhor the word "tight" when used to mean anything other than "constricting'.
I.E. "That car is tight". or "Those shoes are tight."

I try to verbally trip up anyone who says that. I also hate it when people mispronounce other people's names.
Kelly is Kelly, not Killy, Kitty, Keelie, Kylie, or George.

"WORD" that word annoys me when homie gangster tryhards use it like so

"wat up dog?" "word" and they make little hand signal movement crap. it really annoys me. its also on the simpsons on the nsync episode. i rest my case

Or people who add Z's to just about any word also deserve a punch in the crotch.

Hey!

True, people who add 'z' to everything deserve to be batted around the ears with a wet fish.

"Drifterzz" , "chairz", "suckerz".....

Edit: New irritation word: "Owned" Yea, you crashed your car! You got owned by the telephone pole :irked:

I hate the word fat. Or, as the cool rapper kids say, phat.

As in, "y0, dawg, them clear taillights are phat, fo shizzle" It gets on my nerves, and i feel like punching someone.

Yep definitely reasonable grounds for assault and battery there. Not a court in the land would convict.

On the questions issue, I hate:

"What was your name again?". It's the same as it's always been, and you haven't asked me this before, so why did you say "again"?

I also hate:

"And how's Giles?" I don't know. He was OK the last time I checked.

Also:
"Erm, what was I going to say?". I don't know. I'm probably unlikely to care, and if I knew anyway, there wouldn't have been any point in you saying it!

i really hate the word neg as in

Will you do your homework? Neg

I saw it too GG.. There's no point in denying ;)

Anyway - Dumb 4r53d slogans like :

"It's the new Classic from [Insert Dumbass company name here]"
How can it be a New Classic ?

Same with :

"It's the New Standard from [Insert Dumbass company name here]"
How can it be a New Standard ?

:grumpy:
