I was going to post a thread about in-race odometers myself. Yes, the in-car one would be great, but I would just like one period - even if it's just included in the HUD with the tacho/speedo set like it was in GT3 and 4.

You're right just having an odometer under the stats would be better than the current. GT5 had one I'm pretty sure.

Good suggestions, but specifically I would prefer the standard bumper HUD odometer show miles when you've selected miles as your default system of measurement.

Japanese game though. They use km/h. What I can't understand is why cars like an Aston Martin show up in km/h on the speedo/odometer. Same reason why an old Mini was said to be German on the last game as BMW own them, but then Renault who own Nissan, but Nissan didn't show up as French...

Yeah, I mean the in-car view should use whatever that particular car uses in real life, kilometers or miles. But I'm talking about the other in-race views - the chase view and so on, where it shows your speed and tach and all that, somewhere on that HUD I'd like an odometer there as well, and that one should be in whatever measurement you've selected. And it'd be cool to include a trip odometer too.

As far as the countries go, BMW does own the Mini marque now, but Renault only has a large stake in Nissan - they don't really own them as such.

I usually use in car view. Should have odometer there for sure in chase view too.

Sod the stars. I'd like the dials to work in the in-car view.

Thanks for the schooling on Renault/Nissan, amazing what these car companies are having to do to survive. But I'm still waiting for hydrogen fuelled cars....
