Thanks too all those who competed and i hope you had fun:)

Sukerkin takes this week outright win in the UDO DB9, Daan rounds off the UDO top 2 with their 3rd driver Famine finishing in 5th. Nitrobee racing's Bee came a superb 4th in the viper, while jetboys427 cruises into 3rd spot in the Espirit.

Elsewhere, Ebiggs in the RUF reported bad handling in the RGT resulting in himself placing in last.

Congratulations and thank you for a great turn out in round 1, points leaderboard will be set up seperatly in a word processor, i will post that as an attatchment with the next round.

This weekend we travel to Austria for the breathtaking forest run through the Deep forest circuit. Get practicing lads:) 18 laps is the length of the next race.

Also, if anyone is unhappy with the "even-ness" of the cars, let me know and i will try my best to sort it out. Thanks!

Peace! 👍

You made an error. you put boomboy twice in the results

5th!!! 5TH!!! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! Boy that has surprised me.

Bloody impressive time R8man.

Wooh, didn't expect to be that high up. Very close between me and my teammate (well, one of them anyway! :dopey: )

But, R8man's RGT was over 4 seconds a lap quicker than anyone else? In a car that also finished last...? If that's the right time then my hat is off to you, but it's looking slightly dodgy from where I'm sitting.

Thats why im hoping for verification, ebiggs wasnt happy with the cars handling so meh, hoping something can be done to help us all really.

I didn't run it very much Daan, but I ran a few laps similar to R8man.

i'll be happy to provide picture proof when i get (edit: time) tommorrow. Just tell me what you want pictures of

Very well done to my teammates and everyone else that ran.

I wasn't sure how the board was going to shake out because, no offence to anyone intended, I've not heard of most of the runners in OLR circles before; so I'm mightily pleased to have finished where I'd hoped to i.e. in the top three.

Just a small note to R8man, I'd strongly suggest that you get an X-port (or NTSC equivalent) and save all your replays if the time you turned in for this one is your natural pace (if necessary, if you can't get such a device, even be prepared to send a memory card containing the relevant replays off for independant review).

The reason is that you are going to get challenged to prove your times when they're that good. It's not necessarily a personal slur, so don't take it that way, as everyone who is good has to go through a period where their 'credentials' have to be established.

For instance, I have, or at least I like to think I have, a good OLR reputation established over a number of years but I too have been subject to a Stewards Enquiry and if I wasn't able to provide proof of times I'd've been disqualified from the series I was in.

Will do. They tended to take it personally over at the playstation.com forums. Glad to see its different here. I am going to get another AR Max so i could just post pictures until i get one and then post a replay that is close to my best lap with the same settings later. But thanks for the advice again. :)

That would be excellent if you could do that R8man, thanks for co-operationg :) 👍

Imagine once Famine gets his racing pants back on UDO could be the dominant force in the series..

In the races are we ment to have driver aids off or on.

Getting a max drive and posting the replay is the best, and to me the only, way to prove you did the time. In the meantime, you could watch the replay and post all your laptimes. What was your best lap anyway?

Its up to you as to wether you have them or not.

My best lap was in the 1'44s. Havent had time to look at the exact best lap but it was in the 1'44-1'45 range. I will do whatever you guys really want me to do or that I can do to provide verification for you guys

Please do look at your replay and post all your lap times. A best lap of 1'44 is not right.

true, my laps were constantly around the 1'40 to 1'38 range (only had time to run it once though), and i think my best was around a 1'36 - not very consitent. Hope to have a beter shot though this week as i have some more time available.

well done to every one!

I think he told me he was running 1'34s. I'll go for a quick run in the RGT again and see what I can get it to do with a little more practice. R8man races a Mustang GT in SCCA, so you can expect him to be fast.

edit: im too stupid today....ugh 1'34s were right....

Final edit: best lap: 1'34.743

According to Excel, that best lap time x 14 = 22:06.402 and that's not including a slower outlap, and the fact that every other lap was slower than that one as that's your best lap.

Every lap at 1:34.000 would get you 21:56....

How did you get 21:48.xxx?

Oh snap! :scared:

Wow, I actually fared well in something for once. Famine will be in force this week, I'm sure.

Famine agrees.

Is there not also an issue over your quoted times in the ESES thread, r8man?

I suggest you get yourself a MaxDrive as soon as possible.

Hmm, theres an interesting point.....R8man, your fastest lap was 1.34.7, and if you times 1.34.0 by 14 its still slower than your final time?

As a result of this inconsistancy pointed out by the other participating drivers, i am going to be forced to disqualify you from the race.

If you can provide a sufficient replay this decision will be overturned but until then....

Congrats to Sukerkin!

As of next week, if any times come in that look suspicios or are a certain amount of time faster tan the next driver, i will request a replay. If you are unable to show a replay, a screenshot will have to do but might not be sufficient, youve been warned ;)

Good move Ash 👍

Wish I could have made it in for this one!

Not a nice thing to have to do on Race 1, GT_Fan and as the primary beneficiary I don't want to seem unduly congratulatory but I think under the circumstances you've been as fair as you can.

It rather taints a win tho' to get it through a DQ, even if it does seem deserved :(. Anyone want some flat champagne?

Congrats to everyone moving one step up the ladder but commiserations to our Steward for having to excercise his Marshals Rights in the first race of what looks to be an excellent series.

In all my time of OLR racing (since GT4 came out) i dont think ive seen anyone DQed before..

Was a hard decision but it has to stand with the evidence provded against him.

I don't race in this series but still: Just 3 seconds between the new no. 1 and no. 3. That's really close after almost 23 minutes. Good job guys! :)

(Btw, the reason I didn't sign up was 1: ESES and 2: I only drive stock cars, so this isn't my type of championship)

The cars are, essentially, stock. The DB9, in fact, has been de-tuned...
