Wow...thanks for a great race guys, I really enjoyed this one, the best for me so far. As I said, racing for first or last don't really matter as long as its tight and fair, that's exactly what I had....fantastic.

Canu - Well Done, great car set up. You were smashing out half a second on me (and more) every lap, awesome.
 
Sorry about the disconnect today, Ive missed so many races in this series it makes me think about dropping out
 
Hey boys, sorry about last night, we had one of them eksdom power outages, so i was kicked for about half an hour. By the time it came back on you guys were almost finished.
 
Great race all. Canu was in a league of his own, amazing pace.
SkengD was very unlucky to get that drive through pit stop thing happen, he could easily have come 2nd but unfortunately that's racing.
Passing at Tsukuba is not easy at all and I had a good scrap with Driver101 with a few side by side moments before the pit stop, good driving to make sure none of us crashed ;)
 
Morning guys. As much as I enjoy winning I wish my engineer didn't set my car up quite as good as he did so I could have enjoy the battle with you guys. But thanks to the team for giving me a great car last night, they made it an easy win! Lol.
 
Sorry that I quit, but I got extremely frustrated when the car slid off the pit entry and into the sand, then when I returned to pit, it just drove through. I had enough so I went TOCA testing. Hope no one got annoyed by that. Yeah that's all, see ya around.

You know, you enter a series for fun....yes, but I also believe you add your commitment to the host. If every time people just quit because they having a bad race or something goes wrong, it will be a complete failure.

SkengD had the same trouble, but he soldiered on for a result, a good example of what I am trying to say.
 
Yeh I messed up the pit entry , you live and you learn .

Great race tho , amazing pace by canu running those low 59's .

I will have to work my Lupo hard next season to get those kind of times .
 
I commend you on continuing with the race to the end Skeng, it's guys like you that make this championship great. Well done. And you were plenty fast and kept me very honest until you messed up your pitstop. Pity
 
I would've loved to compete in this event, but 6:15am in the morning is too early for me.

I love this car as well! - Enjoy gents.

So guys what's the plan.... are we going to run a proper Lupo series after thurdays race, with all the guys in one room, maybe 5 races with a vote on tracks?
 
I'd prefer that, to get some sense to the stuff. It's been a bit unclear since Cape Ring, and there are even no point standings up. :indiff:
 
I think we should start again. We need to pull this championship together.... it's really great racing, but kinda pointless at the moment with no real championship. We should make Thursdays race the 1st race of a new series? :)
 
We need some dedicated races , we seem to have a core group .

Let's get something organized for next week and start a real proper team championship.

I think 6 or 7 teams of two should be the limit .you don't really want more than 14 ppl in a lounge.

And then we vote on about 7 or 8 tracks and get it cracking , I think the pit stop window rule works , I like it.
 
I have to say I'll have trouble committing now that I'm trying to reduce the amount of series I'm running in to give myself more free time. Also, TOCA S4 is approaching and I need practice for it more than anything, which also affects my situation like nothing...

OK guys. I have been thinking about the series and I think there are way too many people who turn up for one or a few races and then disappear, which has ruined both rooms, so I think a restart of the series with the core of dedicated racers in one room is a good idea. So I am happy to restart the series and also use it as an opportunity to tweak the rules to make it even better.

Let me know your thoughts about any rule changes and which tracks you guys would like to use. We can even start this thursday if everyone is keen?
 
Cool. I'm happy with the rules. Maybe increase the pp a bit? Tracks....... Spa, Rome reverse, autumn ring , Nurburgring GP, Tskuba( excuse spelling). I thought Suzuka was boring, maybe scrap that one?
 
I like the idea of a restart with a lock out of 16 entries for one room only.

Also...longer better tracks like the rising sun series.

And...... its a big ask......but....what if we change to a Sunday night same time.

Just a suggestion???
 
I like Sunday night 2.... pretty easy. Up to the rest of the guys. We have a great core of fast clean racers here ,it would be great keeping the guys together and adding a few more committed fast drivers to the group. Thursday nights r cool, but ultimately it clashes with my work and Sundays would be absolutely perfect!!! But most importantly let's get this Lupo championship rocking, I'm itching fir some good battles!
 
Hi all, sounds good to me, I also find Thursdays to be a bit tough and things are gona start getting very busy for me in the new year. I'm keen to race but time for me will be limited and maybe only able to do the races, I guess I will be the busy backmarker lol ;)

Sunday would be better but also the time can get a bit late which is my main concern on Thursdays.
January is gona be a pain for me as I'm starting work at a new place and have an exam.

The best would be to see what is good for everyone and I will try make the raceswhenever I can:)
