Thanks for the good race and well done to SkengD, I forgot about you after u pitted and was having a good dice with Canu and Scale, we had 2 incidents which 'delayed us', I collided with scale and then i ended on the grass but u guys waited which was very kind and the very next lap Scale had a big off at the chicane, from the replay it looks like he touched the grass/curb.
Scale and I were catching SkengD but something happened on the 1st corner where Scale had a crash but I didn't (maybe Lag). I have looked at the replay and there was a small gap between us then all of a sudden Scale's car looked like it hit something.I didn't feel any contact and with the gap I didn't think anything of it and accordingly kept pushing, I think Scale said my car disappeared so I think lag.
I really do try be clean when I race and if Scale feels hard done by after seeing the replay then I will gladly swop final positions with him, I can't control lag though.

On the whole this race reminded me of series 1 autumn ring race, much more fun due to more cars ;)

Ja.... if I didn't have to wait like 10seconds for you to get back on the track I would have won the race.... you owe me one Byo;) ONLY KIDDING ;) you would have done the same for me I'm sure. But you and Scale were swapping so much paint that your car almost turned green. Haha ha
 
haha ;), thats very true, you would have caught SkenD or even been ahead after your pit stop.
I was trying to get the unripe banana look on my car lol
 
Yes this race was very exciting , so lucky for me to win when I crashed I was fortunate to be in the first pit window so I just went to the pits right away and pushed hard to the end of the race .

I can never seem to push the car to its limit in qualifying but in the race I seem to find the extra speed in it .

I remember when I exited the pit I was down by 36 seconds and I kept shaving into the lead got it down to about 33 32 seconds then I saw it jump to 25 I think , that's when I knew I would have the lead once everyone pitted .

Then I had a 6 second lead which you guys we're cutting into at about 2 - 3 tenths a lap , once I kept this gap I was able to get the win .

I can't wait to see the points table , my team did a great job yesterday

Just come to an early practice session on thursday and I can help you a bit with setup

I have got some tuning info from my Motorsport college course it applies 2 race cars irl but works well when used with a pinch of salt to get over the differences between irl and gt5
 
I think we should seperate the series 1 and 2 results to keep the leagues seperate coz im sure things will go back to 'normal' for next week.

So even though we all raced together, series 2 strips out the 4 series 1 drivers form the results and series 1 will get their positions as if there were no series 2 drivers on the track (and visa-versa).

???
 
Why would you do that ?

That would make 2 winners last week when there really was only 1 .

I disagree to that one , I guess you should vote on it .
 
Hi all, yeah its quite easy to understand why Homes wants to do that to be honest. Yes we all raced together but if the series are not going to be merged then the points awarded to drivers in the different series would be a stuff up, for example Skeng came 1st earning 60 while Scale came X and earned Y points when really he would have been 2nd with only a few points seperating the two, now if there is a huge points gap how can any1 close the gap created by series 1 drivers taking the points thus defeating the whole purpose of a championship.
Likewise us series 1 boys would have all placed 1,2,3,4 easy, but say i came 1st and Canu came 10th (LOL just an example),that not really fair is it.

Worth a thought ;)
 
If that's what you had in mind what was the point of joining series 2 that day especially after all the bashing you were giving our series 2 host .

If the intentions were to always split them up after for the seperate points you could have just ran 2 different races .

Just my opinion, I really don't mind either way , I'm in this for the fun
 
Just to let you know, I quit Cape Ring mostly because penalties on are bullsh#t in there, but also because I simply considered the race invalid after the other series' guys jumped in.

Canu, someone caught word of your success in the beginning of the Rising Sun Cup :)
 
looking back now we probably should have postponed series 1 due to the lack of numbers or just run the 4 of us and be done with it, after all it is the best 5 of 6 races because of things like disconnects and people missing races.

Guys were playing with the idea of joining the 2 series due to low numbers and that's probably why we ended up in Room 2.

I'm sure none of us wanted to create a problem, it was race night and we just wanted to race, so we raced and thought about the consequences later lol.

Anyways we can't change the past, lets focus on a solution ;)
 
I feel the room entries are so random right now that I probably won't come to do the rest of the season... Instead I have a proposal that Homes will run a sequel to the Rising Sun with the Super GT cars, I could give it a try with a better car if the Raybrig really is crap :lol:
 
But I'm still amped for the Lupos and doing the Champions series :) with the top 5 in each room doing say 3 races at some big tracks, like Spa, Autumn ring and say nurburgring GP. We need an overall Lupo champion. Come guys lets stick with it. This is just in order to qualify!!
