Wow, I'm leading on the leaderboard. Obviously my Clio is more of a track weapon than a dirt destroyer.

Redline, like the last one as well as the two Nat said, you can see the RX-7 Badge 👍.The others arn't half bad either.

I think a gallery would be cool too.

Aye ok, so what about some of the other ones Ive posted through out the series so far? The Stratos is my particular favorite car to photo-graph of the group.

Don't mean to turn this into a comment thread, just want some feedback. I could sent a folder of my GTphotos if someone would like to me to email them over, get a better idea of my "portfolio" so to speak heh.

One thing I heard a long time ago, that's stuck with me when taking pictures (in GT4 and otherwise), is to try and show where something (the car in this case) has come from, or is going to, because it tells a story. The person looking at the picture can imagine what has happened, or what's about to happen so they engage the picture more. I think your #2 and #4 do this perfectly, Redline :D

Don't want to burst your bubble, but as soon as Jerome updates the board with my 205, there's going to be a shuffle at the top :p

Update again... I think I'm pretty much approaching the limits now.

:scared:

Look like it's the start of a french revolution!

Dry

Crossfire: 12.029/27.275

Wet

Crossfire: 13.730/31.693
Acura DN-X: 13.789/ 31.254

Blazin' times in the Crossfire--for the dry section. :( The wet stage blows, but notice how the two are so similar in times, which reflects how similar they are to drive.

I didn't expect this at all....my WRC will not handle like I want on pavement....*WHOOPS!!!!* O well...lol. Shake things up a bit I would imagine. LB Updated and I"m fallingggggggg bbeeehhhiinnnndddddddddd........heheh.

All it takes is 3 hours of frustrating restarts and swearing at the TV until the whole household thinks I'm mad.

Hey jump....I'm kinda bored. Could I possibly run a historic entry?

If yes, I will return with splits from my 453 horse Delta S4....muwahahahaa. :trouble:

Baseline times at the moment for me to work with.

And I really do not think its appropriate to allow a car selection change in the middle of a round. Car selections should not take affect until the next event. Otherwise, that is providing the person with a really unfair advantage with testing and car comparison. Not only are people changing cars, they are being allowed to enter in the current week and not forced to wait until next week. Basically after they are seeing how competative their current car is for the specific track.

My intent is not to be a pisser, but I just am annoyed at how the rules have changed after the fact and now everyone is bailing for a new car. One of the reasons I really liked the idea of this series was the change to compare cars and driving ability over the course of an actual competative event.

I'm not dropping out, but I just had to express my opinion.

Sorry Jump if I seem like I am attacking you inparticular but I am not, I do appriciate the effort you are putting into the series and Luxy's as well.

So, I will not be *****ing anymore.

Photos to be up soon hopefully.

Sorry to disapoint Fox, I want to keep a relaxed environment for everyone to have fun in. I thought by accomidating one car change would suffice, case in point....me. For the first 3 weeks my Eclipse was coming DEAD LAST! I gave it a good chance for the first few weeks, but really it was keeping my down, I usually spend about a half hour per car for the whole stage, then go back again for another half hour later if needed (LUXY!!!! lol...) But when I got to my Eclipse I would spend a whole hour trimming tenths and it wasn't as fun for me, and u mentioned being competitive? Um...no, no contest in the Eclipse, and I can imagine a similar experience for someone else. But I will NOT allow everyone switching to the same car 'because its the fastest'. That I wanted to avoid as much as possible, hell half the fun was picking the damned car in the first place u know? But, I totally see where ur coming from dude, I"m only trying to allow a LITTLE gray area to allow for 'more fun!'

But on a good note, Gotcha on the LB!

Yeah, the everyone changing to the fastest car thing was the main thing I would have been bothered with.

*shruggs* Anyway you know I still love you and all :-P

WHEW! Good to hear that man. Race On!

Personally, I wanted the 205 Evo II, but it fell outside the year range by 1 year ... well within regarding power, otherwise. I wanted to keep within my Peugeot theme so opted for the much less powerful 205, which is running 100hp down.

Now, I've taken the more powerful 205 Evo II because Jerome said I could and it stays within my Peugeot theme ... if it didn't, I wouldn't be driving it. Have I picked the fastest car? I don't know, and frankly I don't care ... it's the best historic I can get that's a Peugeot ... that's my reasoning right there. Period.

If the fastest car was any other manufacturer, I wouldn't be driving it.

In the WRS Skyline event, I picked a slower car because it was purple.

In my recent AMC series, I drove a Camaro Z28 (which I really struggled with), because - quite simply - no one else had picked it.

I like to be different, I like to drive what looks good, I like to drive with a theme and I like to enjoy myself. I've got a history of it and I've got a history of not really caring where I place, but rather enjoying the spirit of the competition and always trying to do my own - personal - best.

You think that I wouldn't test this car REGARDLESS of what week it would be allowed to race in? What difference does it make if it comes in this week or next? What makes you think I haven't tested it on all of the tracks?

I don't care for your moaning one jot, and if I didn't like Jerome so much I'd have a lot more to say about it.

When the series was being layed out I had just been under the understanding that of what the rules where and etc.

I am not trying to single anyone out and I think I have a valid point of view. My expressing of that point of view is not meant to call anyone out.

I was wanting to stay with my theme(Mitsubihsi SUVs) as well but my WRC car was to underpowered to compete with a Stage 3 Turbo and with a Stage 4 Turbo it was over the hp limit by 5hp.

I didn't do any testing with a bunch of cars. I went straight to the Subaru dealer to buy my car and that was it, no testing to find the fastest car. I picked it because it's blue!!

i tried the S2 '04 around the wet ; x'xx.xxx . don't have pic yet though , gotta lift one

Hey DeLorean, please erase your final time there and if you want in on the series you are more than welcome, just post your "T" splits please. But first you have to get my approval, tell me which car you want, what horsepower upgrades you bought and your final hp amount. Make sure you keep within the class restrictions. Welcome dude!

jump_ace

Sorry , jump_ace , that was rude of me , i should have ran the Sim times in the correct format , and Sought your permission . I was just shadowing some of what this thread proposed and could'nt resist a posteen .

DeLorean', you can post splits ... like 11.781 - 26.675 ... but not the final time ... that's the one you send to Jump_Ace before the deadline, but you need to keep it secret from us ;)

Make sure yous end him your car setup first, though, so he can approve it.

And welcome to the dirt!!!

Won't be able to fulfill that for Stage IV . . . my bad . Looking forwards to V though now that i know how it works. .
