you know if you wanted to you could include

Acura NSX(American branch of Honda)
Dodge Challenger R/T 1970 (honestly think this is better then the newer version)

both great cars to inculde in this series, hell i'll re-buy both and test them out for you
 
Scratch the 70's Challenger the only way it can compete is if you give it a full customizable tranny and tune it to like 130 - 140 ish mph
 
and the NSX is slow but its got the best handling out off all the cars in the USA category IMO.
 
I've also thought about the older cars such as the '70 Challenger, but you already figured out they only top out at around 120mph. Would work fine at tracks that don't have a long straights. i.e. Laguna. Running old stock muscle cars would be a fun series too.

It's too bad PD put in a cruddy version of the Ford Mustang. Would be cool to have that in the line up too.

Anyways, Camaro & Challenger are great cars for this series. I got my stock US cars painted yellow, black stripes, & black wheels incase any fellow "Team USA" members want to color coordinate
 
you wish it topped out at 120 lets try 110 MPH

my Camaro or Challenger would be white w/black stripes and black rims but if i do choose yellow i might go all yellow black rims lol
 
lol, ok. I have a lot of stock cars in my garage, and the best way for me to tell the difference between them and the tuned versions, is to paint them ALL yellow. lol

I could probably get the camaro in red with white stripes & blue rims. Yea, might just do that. I don't think the stipes on the Challenger can be changed though.
 
nope they all come black sadly .... unless you buy the old one

also when does the testing begin tonight ???

oh, and as a suggestion, mention the WSCCS in the title, otherwise this whole making-the-practice-race-online-so-we-can-get-people-to-join-the-championship thing is pointless.

Last night went pretty well. Got a good turn out. I guess we'll see if anyone else decides to join.

I should be able to make the majority of these races unless my work schedule gets in the way. Havn't driven the Infinity yet, figured I'd take up the challenge. Skeletor27, I'll have it painted yellow with black wheels.

Actually, I was thinking going red, white, & blue colors for the US team. But it really doesn't matter to me. I know "Team USA" will win, just a matter of looking good while doing it.

Vince, I tried adding you on PSN, but you're "Mr. popularity" & you exceeded maximum amount of friends.

Nice to see "Team USA's" roster fill up.

Glad to have you Nova, I admire your courage in taking on the Infinity! Remember if you ever want to switch and run the SR8 you can.

Next thursday will be the first official race for the series. We will be running two races: Laguna Seca (10 laps) and Nurburgring GP/D (12 laps). Hope to see you all there!

NOVA is driving the Infinity, which is a Japanese company made in America. Maybe half of his points could go to to Japan? :dunce:

Anyways, I know someone mentioned evening out the cars last week. I just found out that you CAN use the power limiter and still pass regulation "tuning prohibited". I don't know why I brought that up, I hate the power limiter. But if the Camaro is too much vehicle for the imports, I would be willing to compromise.. A little..

You can also change the brake bias with out affecting eligibility as well. fyi.

Ok everyone, first race is TONIGHT in my lounge! Room will open around 8:45 pm EST (7:45 pm CST). Qualifying will start promptly at 9/8 pm. Remember, if you are disastisfied with your car you may switch to a different one from the same country, but once the first race begins all teams are locked in. Also, if you can't make it for whatever reason, please let me know!

No problem. A notice to everyone, the race has been postponed until next week. I'll try to do a better job this week of letting you guys know ahead of time. Clearly some of the fault is mine for the short notice. Hope to see you all next week!
 
I hope this series doesn't die before it even begins. I'm still looking forward to this.
