Very happy with my quali - I am a bit off the pace here, but for some reason, same as last week, the pressure of quali helped me out - quickest I had managed before quali was a 1:43.5. Into quali and managed a 1:43.265 and a 1:43.30x - was surprised with my first lap, though I knew it was good, I didn't think it would be anywhere near as close to pole as it ended up. Second lap I probably pushed a bit too hard because I thought pole could be possible, but nevermind, happy to settle for second or third row this week I think :P - Over halfway into the championship, I think maybe so long as I outscore Neomone every race from now, the title could be mine - "damage limitation" as they say ;) :sly:

whats happening if there isnt enough for division 2? will there just be a smaller d1 then, and a few pushed into d2?

Nah, we'll definitely be running 7 people in D1. D2 usually gets populated with more late arrivals put on a waiting list. Even if it's just two GT500 and two GT300s

designnsight: I'm afraid your quali is not valid since you drove the PETRONAS TOM'S SC430. You are stuck with the ENEOS and are not allowed to switch cars. In this case, it will "only" cost you 1 grid spot since only one driver who did quali was behind you.

UEA_ReDLinE: I did not recieve a PM from you. That's strange..
 
I'll drop from tourney then. I don't like the ENEOs.
 
from my opionon i would give him the beinfit of the dought because that ensos is crap lol and he didnt realise during 1st race.... maybe a penalty of starting at back of the pack for changing cars

remeber he didnt do pre season and only did a few laps last week, not down to me but thats what i would suggest

i have never done my best time in qualy always to nervous btw i'm out of the hunt of the championship but next season i will be there gonna miss two more races before season ends:(
 
Literally four minutes before qualifying I ran .5 and .7 faster then my qualify time.

Feeling it at the last part of lap three. I ran lap four on out. Ran .6 better then my qualify lap. As well had .300/.400 on the 1:37.9 done by Wardez in sector 2. Lose it and more in three. Uggggh going to watch video of this track. Maybe try something slow on softs to see where the least scuffing lines are.

I agree, but why choose a Petronas and not a Denso? These cars are exactly the same, and have a different livery.
There are just Lexus Petronas on the track..boring to see.

it is a bit surprising neo was very active in thread yesterday when no qualy was open and then nothing. hope it is not something serious irl
