Whats your WORSE GT moment...
mine was ........ when i fell 1/2 asleep on manaco endurance and managed to get half past the 90, 90 degree turn and get stuck there for 2 hours.... trying to free myself
 
last 10-15 laps of the Grand Valley enduro - ahead by 4 laps - no sleep for 2 1/2 days...fell asleep, lost.

My worst GT moment by far.


My first and only time through the game. I had a white Civic SIRII with quite a bit of hp (230hp or so) and I was doing the beginner FF challenge or Clubman Cup (whichever one faces you against the VW Lupo Cup Car).

It was on Deep Forest I believe and on the last straight away, after being in second place the whole race, I got a good exit speed. I was pulling up to that Lupo Cup Car pretty fast. By the time I got to the finish line, I was just waiting for my position to flash 1st. I crossed the finish line and the screen flashed "+0.001"

Yes, this truly did happen to me. I lost the race by the smallest margin possible in GT3. I was very discouraged with the game at that point, and I had only been playing for a few days.
 
actually, you can lose by "+0.000".
if you finish @ the same time as the competition, you lose.
 
worst gt moment. First time I did the monaco endurance. I was like in lap 25 and realized that I was losing :lol: everytning was bad, my pole position, lap speed and my pit strategy. Worst of all I couldnt control the car at all. My big pain came when I was upshifting from the first to second...
 
eah... o well.. i still have it CLEAR in my brain..... lol... everytime i race that enduro.. i make sure i come out first outta the lil chicane @ the end of it... ;)
 
My worst GT3 moments was when I was at 99.0% and couldn't get to 100%. Oh wait I still can't figure it out. I have completed all of Simulation Mode and license tests and gotten golds. On Arcade Mode I have gotten first on all Time Trials and Single Races. Does anyone know how I can get to 100%. Can you please help me out! Thanks
 
Whoah, I didnt know you could lose with a 0.000 time difference.


The strangest thig to happen to me was when I was baselining my cars on Midfield.

I have a 545hp RGT and a 573hp Esprit. I raced them one after another and I got the same exact lap time: 1:09:161 or something like that.

The funny thing is that it put the Esprit ahead of the RGT in the records list.
 
hey dude, do you want to talk about the strangest things?

In that ring test with the corvette i got the weirdest time of all, got something like xx.666. I even have that saved in my mem card as "weird lap" or something. I wish I could share that but I dont have a gameshark... :(
 
Deep Forest. Almost at the end of the last lap, about to win the race.
Last turn, the 45* left-hand sweeper. Opponent right on my tail and I miss the brake point (I was driving a MoSport Elise, no foils).
I smacked the far wall so hard, I rebounded off it all the way to the other side of the track, and I still had so much forward momentum, I Skidded Into The PIT!!!...
 
ah.. yes.. that corner..... haha..
i just cut it... i turn alot earlier.... and my tail end loosens up and i just drift that thing.. *on grass that is ;)*
 
I think the worst exp. was running the Trail Mountian and getting throught the endurance. Right as it was loading up the winning I received and was going to choose the random car, the PS2 locked up, thus more money spent on replacement controller. That probably has been my worse GT3 exp.
 
My worst single moment to date has been missing Bronze on license test S2 by 0.015". I haven't been back to that test since.
 
Probably my worst experience was going for all golds on b license. It was the very first time playing gt3 and I had a long break from gt2. I figured it was the nest way to start a good career on gt3 so I went at it off the break. I continued to do so during that night from 11pm to 4am...The worst was b8...I missed gold consistently by only .00X for maybe 2 hours....it was very disheartening but once I was on I beat it by .2xx. I was overjoyed to say the least.
 
one odd thing i did was smack an R390 Race Car on Laguna Seca
It was stuck on the Corkscrew and for some reason, was tryin to go up the hill ^_^. I think it was becuz i smacked it soo hard on the lap b4

anyway, i decided to have fun and hit it head on since i was soo far ahead (i have f/090/s, don't ask why)

that car just flew....literally

It flew ALL the way down Rainey Curve, the long chicanish turn after the corkscrew. It was hilarious

Then, the Mazda 787b smacked me cuz i was at a complete stop in the middle of the road. All i did was hover straight up, then back down.... it was hilarious ^_^

I would post the replay if i had a sharkport, but o well ^_^

cept that i piled ontop of another car for like.. 1/2 asecond.... and i forgot 2 save the replay.. lol
 
worst moment of all!!!

underestimating the opponent, and then losing a critical race. It always happens to me! just me! lol


o ya thats a crazy replay... i have one with the camaro race car on the test track where i do a barrel type roll and then spin 360 degrees twice.
 
?!!?!?!?!? barrel roll?!?!?! is that even possible according to the physics engine of GT3?!?!
cuz i wanna see a barrel roll.. teehe.e.e.e..
and... its really easy 2 spin 360 twice....i do it al the time...... with my crazy overpowered GT one ROAD car.. :lol:
o yeah, its w/o asm and tcs.. thats y.. lol

Halfracedrift, I think he bought another controller because he threw the old one in anger after the game locked up before he could save.

As for my worst experience, it would probably have to be when I was doing the Rome 2hr endurance race in GT2. I was on, I think, lap 74 with a multi-lap lead when I decided to pause the game to take a break and watch TV. I carelessly dropped the controller down on the bed. A considerable amount of time into watching, I felt the controller rumble on the bed. Bewildered, I then realized that when I dropped the controller, the "start" button was probably pressed and unpaused the game. I then went back to the game to confirm my fears. I had fallen to 4th, numerous laps down. I tried to race and regain first, but I ran out of time and lost the race.
 
:lol: yeah.. i thought he threw the controller or something...
but... FUry........ don't we ALWAYS make sure we PLACE the controller on the bed? *reads ps2 manual* yes it sez that

My worst experience is one time after hours of completeing races and winning cars (well winning a car and completing a series), my GF say wheres that drink u were getting for me an hour ago (oops! *blushes*), and I said in a min hon :)
at which point she basically said no, now! and hit the reset button...

I had a hissey fit, threw the controller on the ground and stormed into the bedroom.... hehehe!!!
gawd I am childish... BUT SHE STARTED IT!!

LMAO!!!!
 
Yep, i had just raced the Trial Mountain 2 hours. I got up to have lunch and switched it off without saving. I realised half a second after i pressed the button. i yelled out S***!!! and then i was depressed for a day. :(
