Worst Corners in GT5

I believe the corner on the nurb is called flugpatz (56-104)
but im not sure of the corners name. But I hate when drafting as some one always bumps you on-line
or you get a lot of air and cant brake enough

Anything to do with Fuji, that track is best taken sideways in third or fourth :D I'd also agree with every single corner mentioned on the Nürburgring.

The first corner on the Daytona Road Course.. If you're up to high since it's kind of banked, then you will most likely lose control..

yeah, the final turn of the eiffel kart track in the supercar seasonal is driving me crazy. i'm having a hard time hitting the perfect driving line. that corner is a bit sophisticated. that area is actually a series of high speed right turns. the last one is tricky because you arrive wide and at a great speed and then the apex is elevated to make things worse.

I don't like the corner after the jump on the Nurburgring (Flugplatz) I think it's called). Usually, if i take the jump at full throttle i lose control after i land. I learned to not take the jump at full speed.

The left turn at Daytona ;) In all seriousness mine would have to be the third turn at The Top Gear Test Track because it's a bit hard to master and everyone cuts the damn thing if the regulations are not changed!

The two left handers at "Spoon" Suzuka...That big beach scares the bejeezuz outta me...Go off there and it'll cost you 5 secs minimum.
Also agree with Laguna Secas "Corkscrew".. The entrance is rough because if you brake late after the summit you're really almost airborne and your car weighs about 4lbs...Hmmm,not much downforce there!...:scared:

The two corners I hate are the 2nd corner of the Nurb 24 hours and the corner on Fuji GT where the F1 Chicane is, because I always try to go onto the other variations of the track.

I hate the final turn on Mt. Aso in the British Lightweights. It's off camber plus it's on a hill.

I don't see why everyone hates this corner. Try using the RM civic, because i absolutely love this corner with that car. Just learn where to brake, then throttle a little, brake a little more then nail the apex.

My least favourite corner in GT5 is the tunnel at eiger. Not really a turn because you dont need to slow down at all, but that's my point. It's annoying!! ;)

1. Last turn at Mt. Aso. Kind of funny though when in one of the seasonals, the leading AI car crashed on the second lap and was front first in the left wall, then I came in second and clipped the car, going front first into the right wall... It looked extremely hilarious so I had to take a couple of pics from it. :D

2. First turn of Daytona Road Course. Usually catches me off guard, it's just stupidly placed and there's a slight bump when exiting the oval section. I'm really forced to brake a lot for that, much more than if it was more normally placed.

3. Schwedenkreuz (I believe it's that - if not, well, it's the quick left-hander at Nürburgring which is followed by the tight right with a sandtrap). The driving line never tells me to brake, yet I can't go through it flat out, not even with a well-handling car.

For me, I love all the corners.............. that's until I start playing online with people who believe that crashing others in corners is the way to go.

Daytona Road 1st turn,
Grand Valley 2-turn combination after the 2nd hairpin
and
Fuji last turn.

The left hander on Nurburgring before Aremburg i cant think of its name but you need to lift off there unless your car has a decent set-up

The first turn of the Nurburgring GP is really tricky if you brake late you will screw up both apexs and run wide out of the next corner exit

And the chicane on Madriad before the finish line that turn always cathes me

Did you see the Top Gear video from Nurb of that first turn. Cars set up far left on the first right and basically took both turns at high speed like it was nothing to it!

Here it is: Looks like they shortend the entrance to the 2nd turn:

i personally think every corner on the nordschleife and sudschleife and brilliant
especially bergwerk

You guys (and Girls) are all haters on Fuji. It's one of my favourite race courses in the world and game.

The worst corner in the world though has to be Arnage at Le Sarthe. The slowest most annoying and stupidest corner in the world. Never brake perfectly on that, never get a clean exit out. Feels so slow compared to the rest of the circuit. I mean it's like having the most beautiful lady with you for the whole night and realising that she's an axe murderer.

Okay so I just completed the British lightweight seasonals using my detuned Lotus Esprit V8. Everyone was talking about how crazy the last turn on Mt. Aso was. While challenging to get around it fast and clean its far from the worst corner in the game in my opinion. For me its probably the 4/5 corner over the hill in the Supercar Festival Eifel. When I get a car that can find a good line consistently over that its a rush, the rest of the time its just Arghhh!!

So what corners does everyone find to be the most challenging/worst in GT5?

Actually I did this track with the Esprit also. I really think an Esprit isn't the best choice AT ALL for these events (it isn't really in the category they're describing I don't think), but I did it for fun. It outruns everyone quite easily at the specs they give, and since it takes a little more effort to drive it makes it a challenge. That last turn though, seems especially made for cars like the Elise. Maybe why there are so many of them entered into the race?

@Kiwi it can be a pain but with enough practice it's like muscle memory. What REALLY gets me is Sarthe without chicanes. I forget to ever stop because I'm in microsleep by the time I hit the end of the back strait! Why would anyone even WANT to get on that track without chicanes???

zzzz....
